    Review: Just Flight - TB10 and TB20 XP for X-Plane 11

    Just Flight, in partnership with Thranda Design, have produced the TB-10 Tobago & TB-20 Trinidad for X-Plane 11. The Socata TB-10 Tobago and TB-20 Trinidad are French GA aircraft with spacious and comfortable cabins. For X-Plane 11, they feature PBR materials with real-time environment reflections, 4096 x 4096 textures and more. Reviewer Nigel Porter found they plane had some flaws but he enjoyed flying it.

    Review: TFDi Design 717

    After four years of waiting, the TFDi Design 717 was finally released. The aircraft is compatible with FSX and Prepar3D and features an authentic exterior and interior, detailed cockpit display units, realistic flight characteristics, in-depth systems simulation and more.     Review: Taburet - Mesh XP East USA 2 for X-Plane

    MeshXP USA East 2 for X-Plane from Taburet is compiled using 30 m resolution elevation models. It uses highly detailed hydrological data to rebuild completely the hydrological scenery to very high detail. It can be used on its own or underneath photorealistic scenery. Paul Mort tried it and found it highly impressive either with or without photographic scenery.

    Review: First Class Sim - Vickers Wellington Bomber

    Sometimes our writers like to look at an older product that remains a favorite. In this review Felicity Smith looks at the Vickers Wellington from First Class Sim for FS2004 and FSX. The Wellington was used throughout WWII and obtained a good reputation. The flight simulator version faithfully manages to bring this aircraft to life, with four different variants of the plane plus an RAF base scenery and several missions.

    Review: Global Art - Toronto Pearson Airport

    Toronto Pearson International Airport (CYYZ) is the largest and busiest airport in Canada, and is now well represented in X-Plane thanks to the scenery package from Global Art. Reviewer Patrick Putland found it to be a nice recreation of the airport, with perfect night lighting, accurate textures, realistic buildings and neat details like the terminal link train that moves on rails.

    Review: Carenado - CT210M Centurion II for X-Plane 11

    Carenado created the CT210M Centurion II specifically for X-Plane 11. This big general aviation single engine plane features specially designed physics optimized for XP11. Other features include full PBR, specially designed engine dynamics, FPS friendly GNS530, five liveries and PDF documentation. Reviewer Sean McLeod found it to be a high-quality, polished package worth adding to your hangar.

    Review: France VFR - Midi Pyrenees Volume 1

    France VFR has a range of products for FSX and Prepar3D that are well described by their company name. In this review, Nigel Porter looks at one of their newer offerings, Midi Pyrenees Volume 1, covering a roughly 70x70 mile region northeast of Toulouse that includes some beautiful gorges and other scenery. Overall, Nigel found it to be a solid product.

    Review: xEnviro Version 1.09 for X-Plane 11

    xEnviro strives to be the ultimate all-in-one environment simulation engine for X-Plane 11. It inserts real-world weather and adds improved clouds and other visual and sound effects. While still a work in progress, reviewer Rohan Nair feels that it is a product that has great potential to become the best weather and environment engine for X-Plane 11.

    Review: Orbx FTX Global

    Though not one of their newer products, FTX Global for FSX and Prepar3D from Orbx is one of those things considered a "must have" by many flight simmers. What it does is change the default scenery throughout the world, making textures, night lighting and so on more realistic--and without making an impact on performance. Reviewer Michael Hayward was quite impressed with the results of using this package.

    Aerosoft - CRJ 700/900 Service Pack 1 Available

    Aerosoft has announced the release of Service Pack 1 (SP1, v1.2.0) for their CRJ 700/900 aircraft product. Please note that SP1 requires the latest Prepar3D v4.3 to use. In a separate announcement Mathijs Kok of Aerosoft announced that this will be the end of development for 32 bit platforms. While support will continue to be offered, any future enhancements will only be for 64 bit sims.

    Wow, lots of eye candy in this one... Orbx has announced upcoming scenery of LSPN Triengen Airport, coming soon for FSX and Prepar3D, created by senior developer Andreas Hegi. This airport really shows off the beauty of Switzerland and has lots of detail on the airport property. An additional bonus airfield is included as well.

    Alaskan Mesh Project: SAK - v1.1 Now Available

    Just Flight Hawk T1/A XP Sneak Peak

    France VFR - Aquitaine VFR 3DA Vol 1

    France VFR announces the release of another addition to their VFR Regional series with Aquitaine VFR 3DA Vol. 1 for FSX and Prepar3D. The new VFR Regional series was designed and developped to provide VFR flight an environment as realistic as possible. It is the result of years of experience and practice in flight simulation and 3D modeling. Objects and VFR landmarks are modeled over the entire scenery area based on official SIA database; includes antennas, towers, water tanks, wind turbines, etc.

    Laminar Research has announced the release of X-Plane 11.25. This is a fairly minor update. Described as an "art update" it includes updated global airports, landmark updates and new facades and lines.
