    Review: Alabeo - Mooney M20R Ovation

    The latest flight simulator GA aircraft for 2017 from Alabeo is the M20R Ovation for FSX and Prepar3D. It comes with five HD liveries and includes a wide variety of features. Reviewer Michael Hayward reports that he thoroughly enjoyed flying the M20R and found it a joy to use its advanced systems and realistic flight model.

    Review: RD Studios - KHAF Half Moon Bay

    Own your own hangar at KHAF Half Moon Bay with the new X-Plane scenery from RD Studios. Reviewer Stuart McGregor really enjoying this highly detailed scenery of the California airport, especially the animated 3D trees that respond to the wind. It also has features like ultra detailed pavement and markings and a hangar that you can customize.

    Review: Aerosoft - CRJ 700/900 X

    Digital Aviation spent seven years developing their CRJ 700/900 X. Published by Aerosoft, FSX and P3D pilots can now fly this popular series of small jetliners. Reviewer Michael Hayward was pleased with the results and would recomment this aircraft to anyone.

    Review: vFlyte Air - Piper Twin Comanche for X-Plane 11

    Flight Sim Show 2017

    The flight simulator show Flight Sim 2017 returned to the RAF Museum Cosford UK for the fifth consecutive year. Hosted by Just Flight and PC Pilot, this was the largest one yet with 1800 attendees and over 35 exhibitors. Michael Hayward was there and offers his report.

  • Third Annual Flight Sim Web Conference

    Each year Online Virtual Pilots Association (OVPA) hosts three developers to speak to and answer questions from the flight sim community. The upcoming conference will be held on November 25.     Third Party Content And FSW

    In a brief announcement, Dovetail Games has indicated that the SDK for Flight Sim World is expected to released before the end of the year. if so, this will open the possibility of more third party add-ons for the new flight simulator. The announcement also talks about current third party development and how it affects the core sim.

    FSW: Moving Maps + View and Slew Add-ons

    There are two new tools for Flight Sim World (FSW) available. These were both developed by FS-FlightControl. Moving Map gives you a better handle on the big picture: it will follow your aircraft regardless of where it is. View & Slew gives you full access to camera and aircraft slew functionality.
