• Review: Carenado - PC12 for X-Plane 11

    The PC12 from Carenado is a speedy single-engine turboprop designed specifically for X-Plane 11. It comes with six liveries plus a blank texture for repainters, special engine dynamics, flight and ground handling optimized for XP11, physically based rendering (PBR) materials and textures throughout and more. Reviewer Rohan Nair really liked the PC-12, finding it visually satisfying and functionally realistic.

    Review: Just Flight - Stinson L-5

    The Stinson L-5 is typical of the type of aircraft developed during WWII for duties such as liaison, artillery spotting, photo-reconnaissance and casualty evacuation. The Aeroplane Heaven Stinson L5 for FSX and Prepar3D, published by Just Flight, comes in seven liveries. Reviewer Nigel Porter found it to be nicely presented and both fun and challenging to fly.

    Review: Milviz - FG-1D Corsair

    Created exclusively for Prepar3D, the FG-1D Corsair from Milviz features an intricate flight model, in-depth system simulation, high definition textures, an extremely detailed 3D model and last but not least, full TacPack compatibility. Reviewer Ray Andersen found the model to be absolutely gorgeous and very accurate.

    Review: Auctus Delineations - EV-55 Outback

    The EV-55 Outback is a new twin engine turboprop from Czech aircraft manufacturer Evektor. It is now available for X-Plane pilots from Auctus Delineations. It comes with cargo and passenger interiors, five liveries, accurate flight model, fully functioning cockpit, working doors, a paint kit and more. Reviewer Sean McLeod found it to be altogether a very enjoyable experience.

    Review: Orbx - KCGX Merrill C. Meigs Field for X-Plane 11

    Orbx has come to X-Plane, with the release of the iconic KCGX Merrill C. Meigs Field. Though no longer present in the real world, Meigs Field has great memories for many flightsimmers who started with earlier versions of Microsoft Flight Simulator. Reviewer Stuart McGregor is greatly impressed with the Orbx version of Meigs Field and glad to see them entering the field of X-Plane scenery.

    Review: Aerofly FS2

    Aerofly FS2 from IPACS offers excellent scenery graphics and extremely realistic flight physics. It does have limitations in area covered and planes available, but reviewer Mario Donick found that it works really well and offers high FPS that other sims cannot match. He's now added it as a sim that he regularly uses.

    Review: Aerosoft - Svalbard for X-Plane 11

    Svalbard is a highly realistic recreation of the Svalbard islands for X-Plane 11. The Norwegian archipelago in the Arctic Ocean is situated about midway between continental Norway and the North Pole and provides some exciting and scenic flying. Reviewer Stuart McGregor enjoyed flying it in different seasons and found that overall it was done to a high standard.

    Review: Aerosoft - Airport Bali

    The airport of Bali has been created for X-Plane 11 by Aerosoft based on recent imagery. The airport environment with highly detailed airport buildings and high-res textures conveys the true Bali look and feel which you can see in the surroundings. Airport Bali was created with an eye for the details and offers virtual pilots a unique experience! Review Paul Mort liked it so much he gave it the highest rating he's ever given in one of his reviews.

    Review: Orbx - EU Germany North

    EU Germany North from Orbx enhances the scenery of the northern half of Germany and even somewhat behind. It works with FSX and Prepar3D and gives five season textures, plus hand-placed objects, new autogen, VFR scenery and more. Reviewer Michael Hayward really enjoyed the scenery--the realism, performance, price...everything.

    X-Plane Mobile 10.8 Released

    The latest update 10.8.0 to the X-Plane 10 Mobile flight simulator from Laminar Research is now available. It includes a redone Boeing 747-400 with interactive cockpit, PBR reflections, better iPhone X support and fixes.

    Aerosoft - Douglas DC-8 for P3Dv4 Updated
