• Review: Aerosoft - Antonov An-2

    The Antonov An-2 "Colt" or "Anushka" is a 1950's era utility biplane that served in a variety of roles and was so useful it was built up to 2001. The Aerosoft version for FSX and P3D v4.1 features complex modelling with many animations, fully functional systems, hi def cockpit, realistic flight model and much more. Reviewer Meng Yu finds it to be well modelled and fun to fly.

    Review: PA28R Turbo Arrow III/IV for X-Plane 11

    Just Flight, in partnership with Thranda Design, now offers their PA-28R Turbo Arrow III and Arrow IV for X-Plane 11. This highly detailed simulation of the PA-28R Turbo Arrow has been developed by Just Flight's in-house team following comprehensive, hands-on research with a real-life Arrow III, G-BGKU, with the claim that it's the best GA plane available for XP11. Reviewer Bruno Esperanca finds the claim plausible.

    Review: Carenado - C90 King Air for X-Plane 11

    X-Plane 11 pilots can now turn to Carenado for a nice version of the C90 King Air, a popular twin turboprop executive aircraft. This version is especially designed for XP11 with custom flight physics. It also features PBR materials authored with industry-standard software, ice and rain effects, six liveries and much more. Although not perfect, reviewer Rohan Nair enjoyed flying the plane.

    Review: Captain Sim L1011 TriStar

    While the L-1011 TriStar was not a particularly successful model for Lockheed, it is fun to fly in FSX, reports reviewer Meng Yu. Captain 1011 from Captain Sim is an excellent product that lets you experience flying this large jetliner. The exterior and interior are impressive and it features a nice collection of animations as well.

    Review: Just Flight - HS-748 Propliner

    The HS 748 Propliner for FSX and P3D from Just Flight includes the Series 2A variant in sixteen liveries. The detailed virtual cockpit features 3D instruments, a comprehensive avionics suite and an easy-to-use autopilot with pitch and bank hold. Reviewer Michael Hayward enjoyed flying this classic British prop airliner and found the Just Flight version does it proud, especially in regards to the exterior modelling and weathered cockpit.

    Review: Carenado - PC12 HD Series For X-Plane 10

    For those still using X-Plane 10 Carenado offers the PC12 HD Series version of the Pilatus PC-12 single engine turboprop. The package includes six HD liveries plus a blank for repainters, realistic lighting, customizable panel, an advanced cockpit and much more. Reviewer Nils Lips found it to be a beautiful plane though not perfect.

    Review: Aerosoft - Frankfurt Airport For X-Plane

    The busiest airport in Germany, Frankfurt Airport, is now available for X-Plane 11 from Aerosoft. Frankfurt XP conveys the unique feeling of a large international airport. Reviewer Paul Mort appreciated the attention to detail on this vast airport, only complaining about a lack of people. He found the scenery well laid out, with good static aircraft, objects, vehicles, buildings, etc.

Created by Andras Kozma, the scenery is a small marvel of state-of-the-art scenery design. The buildings and structures are modeled in great detail and feature photoreal textures.
