    If you follow the development, you probably noticed that I haven't posted many pictures of the cockpit until now. The reason is obvious: it wasn't ready yet. In this blog post I want to share with you why it took so long and give you further insight on the research and development process for this aircraft.

    When researching an aircraft, we need as many drawings, photographs and documents as we can get our greedy hands on. The development process of any add-on is accompanied with countless hours of digging through archives, communicating with curators of aviation museums, image searching and reading through hundreds of pages of documents. The Boeing 247 is almost 90 years old and considering that she didn't operate for a very long time and was only adopted by very few airlines, documentation like technical drawings, manuals and equipment lists were hard to come by.

      I hope this guy does better with this than with the "early access" Vega that he sold for p3d in 2018. He still hasn't finished it and dropped out of sight for several years ignoring those who had paid him for it. It is still unusable as described.
      I'll pass on this one.

      Fortunately I never bought the Vega, as it was always too expensive for me (EUR35), even on sale. However, I did buy their Bleriot XI for MSFS, when it went on sale for EUR10 on simmarket. For that price it is a very enjoyable and believable aircraft. If they price the Boeing 247 closer to the Bleriot and further from the Vega, I will consider it - but only when it goes on sale and when a few reviews are in. Thanks for the warning billythebassman.

      You're welcome.
      Because we have seen very little from this developer other than promises for the years he has been in business, I have resolved not to spend another penny with Wing42 until he delivers what he promised over three years ago--and which incredibly he is still selling
      It just speaks volumes about his lack of concern and respect for his customers--and his business ethics. This industry does not need another "early access" peddler who says:

      "Just pay me now and I'll see what I can do about getting you a functioning product some time in the future"
