Want to make it the best experience? Drop Asobo from developing and get a more capable developer that doesn’t break the sim with each update.

Practically Everytime they have updated this I have had to uninstall then reinstall, then manually update the addons I have purchased. What a piece of *&%$. I actually went out and bought X plane 11 (which has never been my favorite) so I could have a flight sim that works good in Win 10. I reloaded FSX but with Win 10 updates I think it is just a matter of time before it is not a viable alternative. So I am not buying anymore addons for FS2020. it has proven consistently to be to unstable ever since the launch.

I have spent most of today trying to get the sim working again after installing the update and have yet to install any addons, it's disgraceful that a company like Microsoft release an update which is so obviously flawed causing untold stress and dissapointment for loyal followers they should be ashamed, I'm reverting back to P3D and will not be purchasing anymore addons for this sim until they release a stable version.

I would really like to get the XBOX 2020 set up. I don't no anything about how the XBOX system works and how to get started. I have had MS 2004 for years, over the years I have up graded my PC to play Over Flanders Field, latest tried X Plane. I did not want to go through the PC system again. So XBOX sounds like the answer for me.
I need some help, this may not be the place tom ask these questions, but if you could point me in the right direction. I am ready to buy everything I will need to get this set up, money is not the issue. MY email is [email protected]. Please help.
      Thanks

impossible to start a flight since the last update a real scandal and a contempt of FSMS users. already once after the March update I had to reinstall. in the meantime I return to PREPAR3d. really very disappointed with the instability of FSMS

I agree with the tenor of the previous comments. (I'm not sure firing Asobo is the answer, Johnny.) But in light of what seems to be wide-spread -- and fatal -- malfunction, you have to ask what steps are taken BEFORE release of a mandatory update. Don't they have the equivalent of beta testers?

Hello everyone. To add to our funny MSFS user experiences, let me mention that today, while flying over the pyramids of Egypt in the stock Cessna 152, trying to enjoy one of the new scenic flights we got after the usual extra loooong download, the program crashed making all sorts of loud speaker noises. So much so that I thought I had a major shortcircuit in my PC, my dog ran away to the nearest fire department and my wife came to see if I had electrocuted myself (no such luck).

I had to turn the power off to reboot because everything was frozen. Well done MS!!! Fortunately everything came back up and I started my...P3D... ha!

To finish, just one more comment or question... how many more GB or TB will it take to have a decent running program that does not scare the whole family when it crashes? (or maybe works well enough). Come on MS, our drives are already full!! (and I have not even learned where things get loaded).

it's very irritating to have updates every six months. which created interruptions in the functioning of FSMS. the time wasted looking for a solution. for finally which force to reinstall everything. a total contempt for FSMS users, already three days or it is impossible to start a flight, everything seems to work normally no crash but the flight charges for hours, without ever starting. only remedy while waiting to have the patience to reinstall is to go back to PP3D. As for the advertisements touting vaunt the improvement of FSMS , it's just a little more irritating cause no works

I'm enduring all the problems others are describing. I have no working AP at present.
However, UK scenery upgrade: what about 'handcrafted airports' and improved major UK cities? Managed to get flying (with no AP) from EGGP, my home airport, to have a VFR tour of Liverpool. The two most prominent landmarks - the St Johns Tower and the Anglican cathedral (largest in the world?) were missing. The tower is the main VFR waypoint after taking off from EGGP if you're going to tour the city. Another prominent tower missing was the university's Victoria tower, also missing nearby, the Catholic cathedral. We don't expect every lampost and manhole cover to be in the correct place - but four of the most significant landmarks in the city ought to be there. Who, I wonder, did the Liverpool scenery?

Sure...go out and by an XBox....this is what Mirosoft want, the dumbing down of flight simulator, reminds me of a a quote an official at the FAA told me a few years ago " If you let any idiot fly...any idiot will". Then they instituted the "Sports License"

Graphics are great especially in VR. But the excellent graphics come at the expense of many other areas. There are several issues which need to be fixed. Setting the weather does not work correctly. And what you can set is very limited. Need to go back to MSFS X type weather setting ability. A few specifics: When you set the cloud bases they are nowhere near where you set them. Cloud bases should be in Above Ground Level (AGL) (I'm a pilot) - and if you set the base in what I think is AGL for let's say 1000 feet, the bases could be anywhere from 3000 to 5000 feet. And there is no way to set the actual visibility. Setting the cloud base and actual visibility (like we could do in MSFS X and previous versions) is indispensable for practicing flying IFR and IFR approaches.

The rudder steering on the ground is for most airplanes way too sensitive. I've flown most GA aircraft, single and multi-engine, turboprops, and even some business jet time. None of the real aircraft are as sensitive as the SIM aircraft. I've tried tweaking the sensitivity of the steering and it works for a few aircraft, barely, but not for many others. After takeoff the roll tendency and the left turning tendency (P-factor) for propeller airplanes it too much. Most real prop aircraft do not exhibit that much P-factor. Very high power ones such as the Extra 300 have considerably more than a standard GA aircraft, but the sim aircraft are just not realistic in this regard. I hope these comments will help to improve a really good sim. With some of these improvements it would a great sim. If I think of other areas for improvement I will post them here. Thanks

I totally agree with everything you say here. A complete disgrace. Having to do complete redownloads for me at 127GB each time they pull this crap. And to add insult to injury the updates and hotfixes break everything that was good. Turning it into a complete waste of time and money. Get rid of all the volunteer wannabe coders, and actually hire, pay, for REAL programmers that no how to write code that actually works. Not this fix 5 half ass things and break 50 correctly working other things. I tried flying the 787 it flies crooked and in a constant bank even though flying a straight line. Control surfaces were twitching, spoilers were non deployed however full power and level flight was only 246knots. I use the Logitech X56 HOTAS controller and in the game > control options> the GUI that represents the controller is not accurate, ex. button 2 the rotary knob on the throttle is 2 function, the knob turns L/R and also indents for a 2nd contact switch. Same with button 3 the rotary right below it. Also the mini joy stick has a secondary contact also. PROGRAMMERS download a manual if you cant figure out the correct functions a product offers. I don't think there is a single aircraft that works correctly. I know the A320neo is a complete joke as well. If they make me do one more 127GB download I quit for good and go back to FSX or X-plane 11. Both are way better than MSFS2020 in functionality and have better aircraft selections.
