• Pilot's Releases Boeing B314 For P3D

Second Call for Vintage Aircraft Aviators!

This is to give you notification that we have released a Basic Version of our Boeing B314 - The Clipper for Prepar3D v4.5 and v5 at a very attractive price.

We understand, that not every user is prepared to dig into heavy manuals to be able to fly this wonderful historic Flying Boat.

Thus we removed some of the "study level" stuff and made it a "load the scenario and off you go" aircraft for those, who just enjoy to feel and fly this heavy equipment.

Maybe later, once you have learned to manage this historic aircraft and wish to get the Professionally Study Level Version, we will have a very nice offer to upgrade.

In other words, good enough for now. Sad they took the lazy approach. I see it sitting on the shelves of many virtual hangars after they master an aircraft with no study level. Won't be too hard to do.

They have had the study level version out of several months.

Still overpriced (at Eur30) in my opinion. If Pilot's offered the original at Eur30 and this basic one at Eur15, he would be rolling in cash by now. Instead he's trying to make some money by deleting a few features on something which wasn't selling at Eur80.

Despite the fact that I love this legendary aircraft, this program seems to be a few years behind, in its conception. I will very probably be tempted at 30 euros for the full version but never above for prepar3dv5 ... unless perhaps it is available on FSMS which is sorely lacking in vintage planes but always not for 80 euros

it is a magnificent plane as I like them, but offered at a price far too high for an addon. especially since if the exterior appearance seems perfect (after what I could see) the textures of the various internal panels seem poor and out of age, just up to what was done twenty years ago , (no reflections no depth) as to what I saw on the cheap version. considering what is on offer it looks like a niggaud catcher rather than a good deal. short pity ... maybe if one day this plane is offered for FSMS (which is dramatically lacking in vintage planes) at a reasonable price .... but 80 euros certainly not ..
