MSFS October 1st, 2020 Development Update

The update was 15GB, which considering the size and cost of today's storage...is a small price to pay...especially when you consider the detail provided (at no additional cost).

These guys are totaly negligent!! or really don't care. For weeks hundreds buyers have been trying to download this half baked cake which simply goes into endless Loops in the download. Many have written these guys about the lousy MS Download Servers but NO RESPONCE to anyone. But then they keep pumpimg out Airports which many don't care about since they can't even download this very expensive still ALPHA contraption. Congratulations for those who have had the luck to get it downloaded. But beware of the next "Update" it just might crack up all your fun. To avoid that, go into the "Off Line" mode and Make a copy, that way if the real lousy deal bombs out in the next so called Update like the previous ones have done for so many, you'll be able to keep flying and enjoying the "Scenery" which is the only fine thing about it....Sorry guys but this is not even 1/2 done, they should be ashamed that so many paid them and got a big problem and a lot of frustration....

I totally agree. I spent a week or two attempting to download with repeated contacts to MS, to no avail. In the end I applied for a refund and got the sim through 'Steam' and managed to download and get it working.
The MS download and store sucks. Over the years I have berated them for their lack of intuitive software for downloads and error messages.
I've always wondered if they use real people, not software guru's, (sorry) to test their interface and download systems.
As an aside, can anyone tell me the normal file size for MSFS 2020 as I may have been short changed.
