Work In Progress: Aerosoft CRJ for MSFS

The Aerosoft CRJ for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator is still in development, but the work in progress screenshots are already impressive with many details. We also now have two videos to show off the plane:

We have already spend months and months on this project and almost all code is new. All modeling will be new, flight models are totally new, etc. So you should expect this to be a full price product without any serious discounts for P3D owners.

For the release date we are 100% depending on the SDK and that one is not ready yet. We are assisting Asobo as best as we can with that.

Please stop stories on plans, describe only things that are available.
Plans are confusing, some are weeks away, others months. I have the impression that the plans have the only purpose to prevent buying or downloading other products.

As far as the comment above, please NO! Do NOT stop these development stories! I am not going to be building a new rig and getting MSFS until at least the first quarter of 2021 as MSFS has a long way to go with fixes and aftermarket payware to get my purchase (and I'm far from alone as a 25+ year MS flight simmer having every version since FS95, or if you include Sublogic's FSII for the Apple II in 1983 when I was a tween, then call it 37 years).

Never mind I'm going to wait for the AMD response to Nvidia's Navi release to decide on the video card now that we know MSFS responds to the GPU at higher resolutions and quality settings. Further, Aerosoft has a long lineage of aftermarket payware and we haven't seen a new MSFS since FSX 14 years ago. Let me repeat that if it did not sink in to the above poster: FOURTEEN YEARS AGO (next month) was when FSX was released.

We need to see what developers are up to in a sim that itself is still in patch development. And this one specifically is interesting to me since I have flown the Level-D sim of the CRJ-200 series for dozens of hours thanks to a friend who used to fly them as a line check captain - I posted about that with pics here in the Outer Marker forum in late 2003.

I disagree with this. There have been plenty of questions in the forums, and elsewhere, asking whether developers are bringing their products to the new sim and these articles are one of the best ways to answer those questions.
