Announcing A32NX Project - Freeware For MSFS

The A32NX Project is a community driven open source project to create a free Airbus A320neo in Microsoft Flight Simulator that is as close to reality as possible. It aims to enhance the default A320neo by improving the systems depth and functionality to bring it up to payware-level, all for free.

The FS2020 A32NX Project is a community driven open source project to create a free Airbus A320neo in the latest Microsoft Flight Simulator that is as close to reality as possible. It is an open source project and aims to enhance FS2020's default A320neo by improving the systems depth and functionality to bring it up to payware-level, and releasing it to the community for free, even perhaps making variants of the family (e.g. a319, a321).

At this point my system lacks sufficient power to run MSFS at a peaceful FPS. Never the less I want to express my sympathy for people who start up a project like this. I hope that after 'a few years saving' I will be able to enjoy it. Peter.

Looks like the only things you are lacking in are RAM and your video card, other than those your system specs are about the same as mine. I just have an i5 6600K as the only difference. Right now RAM is cheap, and nvida cards are about to have a big drop, so don't despair.

I have downloaded, installed it according to instructions into the community folder but it doesn't show in the flt sim.

My system is almost exactly the same as yours; I have a gaming laptop which has an i5 8300 & a 1TB HDD - other than that, identical specs. I fly in the C172 and TBM 930 in MSFS and get anywhere between 25 and 32 FPS with the settings I use. I can't, of course, have high or ultra settings but, having made a few sacrifices, I am very pleased with the performance and look of the sim.
