    Orbx Announces Sydney Cityscape for MSFS

    Orbx announces their first Australian scenery for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator. Sydney Cityscape, created by Frank Schnibben, brings to life Australia's largest city with a product that pushes the boundaries of what is currently possible in MSFS.     Microsoft Flight Simulator September 17th, 2020 Development Update

    Even a month after the official release, the development team has a lot to tell us in the weekly Microsoft Flight Simulator development update. This week's update includes two new videos: Around The World #3 (Africa) and Partnership Series: Textron. There are also updates on future patches, feedback, the development roadmap and the SDK.

    MK-Studios Dublin Coming For MSFS

    MK-Studios reports that their Dublin scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is getting close to release, and have provided some new screen shots. But they have a bunch of other projects in the works including Keflavik for MSFS 2020, plus Helsinki, Fuerteventura and Rome for both P3D/MSFS.

    Indiafoxtecho M-346 Development Continues

    Bugs in Microsoft Flight Simulator were holding up development of the M-346, but designer Dino Cattaneo of Indiafoxtecho reports that the latest patch has fixed the problems and now development can continue. This also unlocks the possibility of working on the F-35, the Eurofighter and the F-14D Tomcat if supersonic flight dynamics are also now working.

    Orbx announces a new airport scenery for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator, Bryce Canyon Airport by developer Ken Hall. MSFS 2020 pilots will now have a scenic destination in the American southwest close to a number of national parks. The airport itself is captured with lots of detail, careful PBR implementation, custom aerial imagery, etc.

    SoFly A Guide to Flight Simulator Update v1.30

Published as an ebook in PDF format, the book covers the knowledge you need to use MSFS.     The second patch for Microsoft Flight Simulator has just been released. Listed as version, the primary focus is to fix "in-sim" issues reported by users. It is said to offer performance improvements, ATC fixes, improvements to the user interface, aerodynamics updates and fixes to individual aircraft.

    HiFi Simulation Technologies Projects Update

    HiFi Simulation Technologies has been providing popular weather add-ons for flight simulators for many years. In today's announcement, they are looking into bringing Active Sky technology to the new Microsoft Flight Simulator but currently see MSFS 2020 as a "future potential platform". Their announcement also includes news on their X-Plane 11 and Prepar3D products currently in the works.
