    IndiaFoxtEcho - Update On F-35 CTDs

    The team at IndiaFoxtEcho is still working hard to determine why some users of their F-35 Lightning II for MSFS 2020 are experiencing CTD problems. They believe the problem has been narrowed down to coding for the HUD and hope to have a new build with the addressed, plus some other improvements, available shortly.

    MSFS 2020 Development Update January 27, 2022

    The latest development update from the Microsoft Flight Simulator team includes a reminder that "World Update 7: Australia" is coming next Monday. Details are promised upon release. In the SDK, they have started a revamp of the Aircraft Editor alongside a new how to make an aircraft tutorial.

    FlyByWire Improves A32NX EFB Dashboard

    The FlyByWire team continues to improve their A32NX jetliner for MSFS 2020. They have now added a small convenience detail in the EFB dashboard - you can now check out the textual METAR for your selected airports. Available now in the development version.

    Navigraph Chart Cycle 2201 Released

    Navigraph announces that Chart Cycle 2201 has been released. Update your tools and add-on aircraft FMS databases using the FMS Data Manager and using the Navigraph Navdata Center for MSFS 2020 users. The current Jeppesen charts are already available through the Navigraph Charts apps.

    Taburet - Night3D USA Pacific MSFS

    Taburet announces the release of a new scenery package for MSFS 2020. Night3D USA Pacific MSFS covers Alaska and Hawaii.     CR1-Software Announces Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero MSFS

    We have not heard from them in a while, but CR1-Software is back with an exciting announcement for MSFS 2020. Their first in a series of new aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator will be the Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero. This famous WWII fighter will give exciting performance to flightsim pilots, who will also enjoy the extremely accurate details CR1 will include.

    SoFly Weather Preset Pro Epic Update v1.30

    Sofly announces that a brand new free "Epic Update" to Weather Preset Pro for MSFS 2020 is now available to download. Version 1.30 includes ten additional weather presets that create epic scenes within the flight simulator. This is in addition to some sixty custom made presets already included.

    IndiaFoxtEcho - Ford-Class Carriers for MSFS

    MSFS 2020 users wishing for a realistic place to operate the IndiaFoxtEcho F-35 Lightning II or T-45C Goshawk now have a new option with the release of Ford-Class Carriers for MSFS.     IndiaFoxtEcho F-35 Project Update

    IndiaFoxtEcho has issued a detailed announcement about the status of their F-35 project, including its X-Box and Marketplace release as well as current operating issues. Also mentioned is that the Ford-class carriers add-on should be released shortly and a full roadmap update will be coming in a few weeks.

    Review: Aerosoft - Antarctica - British Rothera

    You might think that flying in Antarctica would mean endless miles of boring white expanse, but you'd be wrong as proven by the Antarctica Vol. 1 – British Rothera and Beyond scenery for MSFS 2020 published by Aerosoft. Reviewer Stuart McGregor found himself falling in love with the area and found exploring around Rothera and the other bases included to be a great adventure.

    FlyingIron Simulations Project Status Report MSFS/DCS

    FlyingIron Simulations has posted a lengthy status report on their current projects for both MSFS 2020 and DCS. For MSFS, they have announced the F6F Hellcat, an important US Navy fighter of WWII. For DCS World, they are working on the A-7E Corsair II.

    Taburet - UK Trees For MSFS 2020

    New from Taburet is UK Trees For MSFS 2020. The function of this mod is to replace trees all over the UK. All default trees are removed and repositioned using Ordnance Survey forest data. It is needless to say that we now have a far more balanced environment, with trees actually matching the photorealistic textures.
