    Orbx Releases Bryce Canyon For MSFS

    Orbx announces the release of another scenery for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator: Bryce Canyon Airport. MSFS 2020 pilots can now explore the National Parks of the Southwest which are nearby, such as Zion, Grand Staircase, Arches and Monument Valley. The airport itself feature ultra-high details in the buildings and objects.

    Drzewiecki Design Releases Moscow Landmarks MSFS v1.1

    Today Drzewiecki Design announces an update for their Moscow Landmarks MSFS package that upgrades the Russian capital with custom made buildings and other points of interest. The upgrade, which is free to previous customers, includes new custom made buildings around the city, custom airport ground layouts and light at Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports and various fixes.

    Work In Progress: Aerosoft CRJ for MSFS

    The Aerosoft CRJ for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator is still in development, but the work in progress screenshots are already impressive with many details. We also now have two videos to show off the plane. This is an entirely new plane, not a port, using all new modelling, new flight models, etc.

    iniBuilds Announces iniScene Line Of Scenery For MSFS

    Previously known for their aircraft, iniBuilds now announces their new iniScene line of scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Their first release will be Shoreham General Aviation Airport (EGKA) in the UK, and a few screen shots are provided to show the progress.

    Microsoft Flight Simulator September 24th Development Update

    The big news in this week's Microsoft Flight Simulator development update is the "World Update I: Japan", though they already announced this yesterday. They do add that their goal is to provide a meaningful update to the sim every month, and this addition is pretty significant. Further details are also provided and the SDK, feedback snapshot, development roadmap, etc.

    NMG Steps Back From MSFS 2020 Scenery Development

    NMG Simulations has mastered scenery creation for FSX, Prepar3D and X-Plane and had planned to move into MSFS 2020 development as well. However, they have announced that they are drawing back from these plans, due to the current unsettled state of the sim itself and also because Microsoft has not provided the tools and information via the SDK that they need to successfully create scenery.

    MSFS 2020 - Japan World Update Announced

    As good as some of the default scenery can be in the new Microsoft Flight Simulator, hand enhanced scenery will always be better. Today Microsoft has announced that Japan will be the next area of the world to receive such enhancement, and has released a video trailer showing how it will look.

    Verticalsim Announces Norfolk For MSFS

    Verticalsim announces that they are bringing their scenery of Norfolk Airport (KORF) to the new Microsoft Flight Simulator. Though based on their X-Plane version, most objects, materials and lighting will be completely rebuilt to take advantage of the features of MSFS 2020. It will offer things like PBR materials, HDR lighting, taxi paths for AI, airport vehicles, etc.

    Fsdreamteam announces the release of a new airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator: Key West International (KEYW), the southernmost airport in the USA.     Sofly Guide To Flight Simulator MSFS 2020 Update To v1.40

    The new Microsoft Flight Simulator is sadly missing a user manual. But publisher SoFly has stepped in with the release of their A Guide To Flight Simulator. Published as an ebook in PDF format, the book covers the knowledge you need to use MSFS. Originally 120 pages, this latest update expands the book to 200 pages with information on dealing with snow and icing, accessibility options and updating your sim.

    Indiafoxtecho Long-EZ For MSFS Update

    Dino Cattaneo of Indiafoxtecho has released some last minute news about his Long-EZ for Microsoft Flight Simulator. He's made a few last minute changes to the cockpit and textures. Otherwise the plane is ready for release and will soon be seen in the MSFS 2020 skies.
