    REX 2020 Weather Force Technical Update 1.1 Released

    REX brings their advanced weather technology to MSFS 2020 with REX Weather Force 2020. This is a new METAR-based dynamic real-time weather engine that will let you experience automated, dynamic and smooth weather transitions. It also offers weather scenarios and other features that let you take control of the weather. Technical Update 1.1 has just been released to resolve issues in the original version.

    MSFS October 30th, 2020 Development Update

    A day later than usual, the Microsoft Flight Simulator team issues their weekly development update. The just released Update #5 has been causing problems and a hotfix is scheduled for this weekend. In further news, work continues on the SDK and a new video has been released, Around The World Episode 6: South America, Central America, And The Caribbean.

    SamScene3D Releases Hong Kong For MSFS

    SamScene3D announces that they have released Hong Kong City Times scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This is another of the city landmarks sceneries that many have been creating, this one with over 300 custom buildings in the city, plus major bridges, an animated ferry, night effects and more.

    Gaya Simulations Teams With Terrainy Studios

    Gaya Simulations announces that they are teaming up with Terrainy Studios to develop Samos Airport (LGSM) for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator. No further details are provided, just a few screen shots of the terminal.

    FS2Crew Releases Pushback Express v1.2 For MSFS

    Just updated by FS2Crew is Pushback Express, the first and last pushback system you'll ever need for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator. It includes a wide variety of international voice sets plus three pushback modes. It works with any type of aircraft at any airport with a variety of options to tow, push or pull aircraft as desired. The update adds voice control plus some minor bug fixes.

    MSFS Update #5 Now Available

    Only one day after announcing it would be delayed, the Microsoft design team now announces that Microsoft Flight Simulator update #5 is now available. This MSFS 2020 update is officially version 1.10.7.0 and includes a long list of fixes to planes, UI, weather, activities, world and more, but still includes some known issues.

    Imaginesim Atlanta KATL Complete

    Imaginesim has announced that their Microsoft Flight Simulator scenery of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (KATL) is complete and going through the release process. Their currently planned MSFS 2020 release order is KATL Atlanta, WSSS Singapore, TBPB Barbados, KAUS Austin, KLGA LaGuardia, and last ZSPD Shanghai.

    Gaffer Simulations Previews Port Elizabeth For MSFS

    Scenery designer Gaffer Simulations is currently working on Port Elizabeth International Airport (FAPE), serving the eastern cape province in South Africa. The airport has two paved runways and a modern terminal that can handle two millions passengers per year.

    LHSimulations Previews Budapest LHBP For MSFS

    A while ago LHSimulations announced that they had become an official partner of Microsoft Flight Simulator. They are now working on several MSFS 2020 scenery projects for Hungary. Today we have some new screen shots showing Budapest LHBP Airport Scenery 2020, primarily the terminal buildings.

    Review: Taburet - Fishburn Airfield For MSFS 2020

    Little country airfields are great destinations if you're flying a light plane and out doing some sightseeing. Taburet has created a nice destination on the east coast of England with Fishburn Airfield. Reviewer Neil Birch loved the experience of visiting with all the little details, bringing back memories of visiting the real field years ago.

    Fsdreamteam Announces Basel Airport For MSFS

    Fsdreamteam announces plans to release their MSFS 2020 scenery of EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg Airport this weekend. They previously released a Prepar3D v4 version and have now announced that anyone who purchased that version will also get the Microsoft Flight Simulator version for free, as the same key will work for both versions.

    Skysong Soundworks: A NOTAM About Audio/Legacy Audio In MSFS 2020

    Like many developers, Skysong Soundworks has been trying to adapt to creating add-ons for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator. As a specialist in sound, the lack of adequate details in the current SDK have prevented doing anything more than a little experimentation. To be clear, current products do not work with MSFS 2020 but it is hoped that new ones will be possible in the future.
