    DC Designs News Update

    Lots of news from DC Designs. They are actively working on their latest update to their MSFS 2020 F-15 Eagle. But there's a lot more in the works, included a Stearman biplane and F-14 Tomcat. The new announcement today is that they are also bringing their Concorde to Microsoft Flight Simulator. This will be a major rebuild with work just getting started.

    Axonos - YPPH Perth For MSFS 2020 Now Available for Pre-Order

    Axonos has been working on YPPH Perth International Airport for MSFS 2020 for a while now and it's almost ready for release. They are now accepted pre-orders at a reduced price. This is the group's first scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

    LHSimulations Releases Budapest Airport MSFS

    LHSimulations announces the release of LHBP Budapest Airport for MSFS 2020. It features high resolution textures with PBR. It accurately shows recent changes to the real airport including new apron, new taxiways, new parking and gates as well as a bunch of new buildings.

    Review: Aerosoft CRJ 550/700 For MSFS 2020

    The CRJ 550/700 from Aerosoft is the first of hopefully many high level systems packed aircraft coming to Microsoft Flight Simulator. Reviewer Joshua Moore found it be an enjoyable aircraft to fly, with good flight dynamics and a realistic recreation of the jetliner's systems.

    This video tutorial by thecorporatepilotdad shows tips to successfully complete a localizer back course (LOC BC) approach in the TBM-930 in Microsoft Flight Simulator. The approach is conducted at John Wayne/Orange County Airport (KSNA) in Santa Ana, California, USA and uses Navigraph charts.

    FlyByWire Simulations Development Update

    FlyByWire provides us with a quick dive into the changes made toward the A32NX flight model as part of their development update. The flight model has been completely revamped from the ground up. Incorrect physical aspects, like wing dihedral and sweep, horizontal tail size, and flight control surface deflections were corrected.

    Rolling Cumulus announces they are working on a new missions package for MSFS 2020. Coming soon is In The Soup, with three very dangerous bush trips (missions) which take place in Canada, Iceland and India.

    MSFS 2020 May 6th, 2021 Development Update

    The big news in this weeks development update from the Microsoft Flight Simulator team is that they are looking for a select group of testers to help test the upcoming Sim Update 4. People are needed with a diverse set of skills to test specific feature work done for this update.

    Announcing Yaw2 3DoF Motion Simulator

    Yaw VR announces a Kickstarter campaign in support of their Yaw2 motion simulator. As the name implies, this is their second such product and offers full 3DoF. Though described as a "gaming" chair it's quite suitable for flight simulators, and videos are included showing it in use with X-Plane and MSFS 2020.

    In a few days a new Britten-Norman BN-2 Islander will be released for MSFS 2020. In this "KerrSpective", author Kenneth James Kerr offers a preview of this plane which is popular world-wide. With lots of liveries and an appealing interior and cockpit he sees this as a promising addition to the Microsoft Flight Simulator collection of aircraft.

    FlyByWire Updates A32NX for MSFS 2020

    The FlyByWire team announces that a minor update to stable (version 0.6.1) is now available for the A32NX for MSFS 2020. It includes changes to the displays and ECAM, optimizations to the EFB, and upscaled the FBW livery to 8K.
