    HoldMyBeer Releases SR22T As Freeware

    Developers Ben Willim (Shorty) and Till Vennefrohne (Mokny) over at HoldMyBeer have released their SR22T as freeware for X-Plane 11:

    The Cirrus SR22 is a single-engine four- or five-seat composite aircraft built from 2001 by Cirrus Aircraft of Duluth, Minnesota. It is a development of the Cirrus SR20, with a larger wing, higher fuel capacity, and a more powerful, 310-horsepower (231 kW) engine.

    The SR22T simulation comes with a great 3D-Model, including outside elements like TANIS, GPU, chocks, covers and tiedowns.

      Open the Weight’n Balance App on the tablet. Remove all outside elements (Tiedowns, Covers, Chocks, etc)

      I don't know about the prop, not tried flying it yet

      but I'm sure if you follow the instructions under First Flight (Quick and dirty) you'll get it working

      look in the documentation folder for the instructions

      I installed the hot fix yesterday and had a flight that almost textbook perfect. This is probably the second finest freeware of any that I've tried (Zibo gets my nod for first and AWX DC-3 for third). An it is vastly superior to just about all of my GA payware. I'll definitely be donating - and all donations are funneled to a charity.
