Not really a freebie then is it. Just a demo. A freebie is something given without cost or restriction (including time restriction). Using the current "health crisis" as a sales gimmick is pretty desperate to say the least.

Demos usually have limited functionality. This is the fully functional aircraft offered at no charge.

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

I fully realise that there is no charge but it is still not a "freebie" nor a "gift" if you have to give it back. I'm not even suggesting that Just Flight have misrepresented themselves. I'm suggesting that Flightsim.com are misrepresenting Just Flight by both advertising a "freebie" and for using the current medical crisis for a sales pitch.

Thanks goodness it is a time-limited "freebie". I have bought both the X-Plane and FSX/P3D versions of the Hawk recently and was mighty disappointed when I saw the headline. At least after April I will still have my copies. Perhaps JustFlight will still offer a proper freebie in weeks to come?

For a "real freebie" download Dino Cattaneo's T-45 Goshawk. It's payware quality freeware.

So it's not a freebie but a "loanbie". Better this?

If I have to give it back it is not a freebie by any stretch of the imagination.
Just lost a little respect for Just Flight!

And then, of course, there's A2A's free P-40. It doesn't fly away into the sunset in the 20th April, also Aeroplane Heaven's Globe Swift.
I was very disappointed in Just Flight over this. It's pretty much no more or less than a marketing exercise. Clickbait.

Hey folks lets remember that Just Flight has more free demos than anyone else around. Remember that to produce payware products you have to pay people, pay for a website....etc.....etc. Unless you've done it yourself don't be so quick to criticize someone's generosity.

      Thank you Just Flight!

They have tons of DEMO offers. Some limitations may apply (dah). File size is huge because it's 'payware' quality. They also offer FS2004 Demos (Mosquito, P-38, Spitfire, and Tiger Moth. So don' be saying it's because of the Covid-19 Virus. It has nothing to do with THAT so it's not fair to accuse them of any impropriety. It is called MARKETING (ie: advertising). Grow Up!

Demo yes, freebie no. There is a clear difference

No-one is accusing Just Flight of anything. It is Flightsim.com who said "Another developer has decided to offer a free aircraft during the current health crisis." I am saying that it is not "free", it is a demo. It is also Flightsim.com who mentioned the health crisis, not Just Flight. A real "freebie" is the likes of Aeroplane Heaven's recent offer of their Globe Swift. It was the fully featured aircraft with no feature limitations, no time limitations. It was (and still is), a totally free gift. Language is for communicating, and if you use the wrong words, you cause misunderstanding.

Is it really necessary to get caught up in semantics.....just enjoy what
      we've been given.

What a shame the "freebie" offerings in the file library don't receive as much enthusiasm (my scenery packages have had over 2000 downloads in total, and not a single thank you).

So what if it's just for a month...get over it and fly...there's more important things at the moment to worry about.

Honestly...the majority of the comments above are embarrassing to say the least!
