VSKYLABS Update Regarding C-47 Skytrain Project

VSKYLABS C-47 Skytrain Pilots! Progressive update to v2.9 has recently started!

During the following weeks, the project will get updated into version v2.9, progressively, using the included STMA Autoupdater. It is quite a comprehensive update.

Progressive phase has started at 28th November 2019, and is aimed to be completed within a few weeks.

Progressive update history log is available in the main project page at VSKYLABS.

Recent update items are including compatibility with X-Plane 11.40+ Experimental flight model. So from now on, when flying the VSL C-47, make sure that it is enabled!

In addition, all-around anti-icing de-icing system enhancement and setup was completed, incorporating de-icing fluid for the propellers de-icing system, carburetor de-icing system, wing and tail boots, windshield de-icing. Icing is also visible and interactive with the various systems.

PBR for the whole project (in and out) will carry on throughout the progressive update phase, along with remodeling of several aircraft components. Here are a few screen shots showing the current state of the cockpit environment. It is already available - your aircraft will get updated next time you will load it on X-Plane 11.

Noticeable also is the turn and slip indicator, which was installed in the co-pilot side, to allow more comfortable monitoring from both seats, and when the yokes are visible.

Speaking of the yokes...they will get enhanced with details soon, the winding string cover is already there...
