    DC DEsigns F/A-18 Super Hornet

Here is some news from DC Designs and their soon to be released F/A-18E/F/G package for both FSX and P3D:

Object un-wrapping and ambient occlusion maps completed today on the undercarriage - the Hornet has a really complex arrangement so I wanted to use AO to really bring it to life. Final texturing will be done tomorrow. I also mapped the attach points for moving lights, in this case navigation lights to the folding wings and landing light to the oleo leg - Prepar3D looks awesome with dynamic lighting in play.

Also, a quick update on the color schemes chosen for the FA-18 Super Hornet package:

    • FA-18E; VFA-143 "Pukin' Dogs", VFA-31"Tomcatters" and VFA-27 Royal Maces" (CAG)
    • FA-18F; VFA-103 "Jolly Rogers" (CAG), VFA-213 "Black Lions" (CAG)and VFA-41 "Black Aces"
    • EA-18G; VAQ-140 "Patriots", VAQ-139 "Cougars" and 6 Squadron, Royal Australian Air Force
