    Tioman Island released by PILOT'S

    Ranked by Forbes and the History Channel as having one of the most dangerous airport approaches in the world, PILOT'S is pleased to announce that their Tioman Island scenery is now available! Inspired by the PILOT'S founder's first personal visit to the island, Tioman Island features a white knuckle approach into Tioman Airport (WMBT), complete with a Hong Kong Kai Tak style "Checkerboard" approach. The island's only approach offers a unique and inherently dangerous path to the airport due to the surrounding high terrain and a "no go-around" setup. Crisp tropical colours, high-resolution mesh, and hundreds of hand-placed trees coupled with lush vegetation and exquisitely crafted island beach resorts offer a uniquely immersive environment. And you may even spot the odd Tioman Island lizard taking a stroll near the airport or on one of the island's tropical beaches!

    Tioman Island is located in the South China Sea, just off the Malaysian Coast and is a short 150 km hop in a northerly direction from Singapore's famous Changi Airport.
