    Aerosoft - FSDG Rhodes

    Introduction

So after a short break away from flight simulation and the internet in general, I'm once again back with another review. This time around we're taking a look at Aerosoft's Rhodes scenery for P3D V4, and it's definitely something to look at!

As always, expect a short, but to-the-point review with just the main facts and figures that will influence your choice in purchasing the scenery!

The scenery itself has always been something I've wanted to purchase as I've been fortunate to have visited Rhodes many times. It is a beautiful island with a rich history, with plenty to see and do, and Aerosoft and FSDG have really done a fantastic job in reproducing that in the virtual world.

The scenery itself offers a lot of detail, and includes two airports - Diagoras International Airport (LGRP) and Maritsa Airport (LGRD), both of which have quite a lot of detail.

I'm extremely excited to get into this review and take a closer look at the scenery, so let's get right in!

    Coverage Area

The scenery itself, as previously mentioned, features two airports, Diagoras International Airport (LGRP) and Maritsa Airport (LGRD). It also has high resolution aerial imagery which covers the entire island which helps to make things look as seamless and immersive as possible.

The airports themselves are extremely detailed, down to the last little point which is the main attraction of this scenery for me. The entire island also fits perfectly with Orbx products as well - not that it would make much of a difference if it didn't, since the entire island is covered with custom textures.

Not a single detail has been missed throughout, and there is even a handy Scenery Config tool which can be used to customize the features of the scenery based on your personal taste which I found to be really useful. I'm the sort of person who likes to customise things where possible, so that was perfect for me.

The scenery, as per the Aerosoft web site, includes landmarks such as "hotels, historic sites, solar parks, olive plantations, wind generators, greenhouses and lots more". These all help to add to the overall immersion when flying into and out of this scenery.
