    Airtech Simulation/A2A Spitfire For X-Plane

We have not heard much from developer A2A Simulations for quite some time now, with no new products from them so far in 2019 and nothing much else other than a few updates. So now it appears that we indirectly have word on what they have been up to:

"We are now able to reveal that A2A Simulations are in the final stages of developing our new Spitfire software for X-Plane by Laminar Research. Thanks to Scott, Rob, Adam and Lewis. Exciting times!"

    About Airtech Simulation

We design and manufacture high fidelity flight simulators for flight training and entertainment specialising in classic aircraft including the Spitfire, Lancaster, Mosquito and P51 Mustang. We can recreate any aircraft, classic or modern, to your own specifications and budget.

Mission: To preserve classic aircraft, such as the Spitfire, for future generations by providing their pilots with the tools to train and practice effectively on the ground. Our systems will significantly reduce the workload and operating costs, increase the operational life of the aircraft and assist the pilots in operating the aircraft more safely. Our systems allow them to practice normal and emergency procedures more frequently without being restricted by operating costs, controlled airspace, aircraft performance/altitude restrictions or weather.

    About A2A Simulations

A2A started out its life in 2003 as a one man team when Scott Gentile created Shockwave Productions. Later rebranded as A2A Simulations, the company has produced a number of detailed aircraft.

In 2008, Accu-Sim was unveiled, which was the culmination of a long time dream to literally do things in simulators that have not yet been done before. Accu-Sim is pure A2A born, and allows the company to develop without limitations for itself and other host flight simulation engines. During this time A2A Simulations has attracted what we consider to be the very finest beta team in the flight simulation business, which insures products get to the customer in a well-tested, battle proven state.
