• Rolling Cumulus Software WW2 Air Transport Command Update

    RCS WW2 ATC

After a week of starting our WW2 Air Transport Command flights site, we can report that twelve new pilots have joined and are now flying over the many WW2 skies provided. The following route has much traffic, the South Atlantic Route, starting at Homestead AAF base in Florida. This route ended in Accra, Africa. It made the Atlantic Ocean Jump from Natal, Brazil with a stop in Wideawake AAF base in British Ascension Island. Our site route provides pilots with photo scenery for both principal hubs.

The African Routes have also been placed as well as the China, Burma India Airway. In the download area we have included "The Hump" mission for pilots who want to try their flying skills over the Himalaya portion of the route. Expect 19,000 plus mountain tops!

The North Atlantic Route was added two days ago and we are seeing traffic already on it. New pilots will be welcomed this week with a new set of goggles!

Update 2: Seven Photo Scenery ATC bases can now be downloaded for more realistic flights. The European, Alaska and Pacific Routes are now open for Missions. Pilots have been flying mainly in the African and Indian Routes covering the "Hump" in many flights.
