• A Shout-Out From Historic Airline Group

Our Summer of Expansion has reached a climax, and we have our own "grito," just in time for Mexican Independence Day. Our litany of over 100 classic airlines now includes a rather thorough salute to Aeronaves de Mexico, including the L749, DC-6, Britannia, DC-8 and DC-9.

Not content with just one Mexican carrier, we have also added the Comet services of Mexicana, and are actively seeking timetable information from the mid-1970's and beyond, to add a wider variety of Boeing 727 services.

We've also done a lot more in Latin America, with both the Comet and B747-200 services of Aerolineas Argentinas available, and a rather comprehensive Varig international timetable. Work continues on bringing more Brazilian services to the fore. Look for these as the northern winter comes. We have not stopped there, however.

The Historical Airline Group, the home of the lost vacation (TM), is also a turboprop-lover's delight. Our Cubana features the Britannia and IL-18. In fact, we might just be the most comprehensive English-language virtual airline, in terms of both of these types, since we feature several significant carriers that deployed them throughout the world. We have a lot of Lockheed Electra II and Viscount flights, and are, without question, the most comprehensive English-language VA, in terms of both the Comet and Caravelle.

With so much rich history to explore, different types to enjoy, and places to fly, what are you waiting for? Visit www.historicairlinegroup.com and take a virtual vacation from yesteryear. iVolamos!
