    RCS WW2 ATC

"Air Transport Command was a United States Air Force unit that was created during World War II as the strategic airlift component of the United States Army Air Forces. It had two main missions, the first being the delivery of supplies and equipment between the United States and the overseas combat theaters; the second was the ferrying of aircraft from the manufacturing plants in the United States to where they were needed for training or for operational use in combat. ATC also operated a worldwide air transportation system for military personnel." Eventually ATC became the largest Airline in the World!

We welcome all pilots who would like to join RCS WW2 ATC. When you join you will be able to fly from several HUBS. We have presently opened the following: US Miami Hub, Natal Hub, Asmara Hub, Dakar Hub, Congo Div, Karachi Hub Accra Hub and the India Hub. From these you have available more than sixty ATC and AAF airfields to fly to and from. Pilot flight reporting is available for all your flights.

Pilots start as Lieutenant Copilots and after eight flights you win the Left Seat and Captain Wings.

From the India Hub at Karachi you will be able to access the several Hump Airfields and fly the most dangerous route over the high mountains to Kunming, China. If you start at the Miami Hub, you will fly over the Caribbean to Atkinson Field in British Guiana and on to Natal, Brazil. From there you will make the big jump over the South Atlantic, stop at Wideawake Airfield in Ascencion island, re-fuel and continue to your final destination at Accra, Africa. Other fifty six airfields will be waiting for your deliveries in Africa, Middle East, India and many other theaters of war.

C47s, C-46s, C-54s and many other WW2 aircraft flew ATC Routes so you have a wide choice to choose from, flying the Ventura over the oceans, deserts, jungles and killer mountains will give the ATC Pilots many hours of exploration, danger and fun.
