    Carenado - DA62

In a brief announcement today, Carenado has announced they are working on a Diamond DA62 for FSX and Prepar3D. The DA62 is a light twin with seating for five to seven people and first flown in 2012. It's pretty speeding, with a cruise speed of 202 mph and a range of 1479 miles.

Along with the announcement, Carenado provided a few pictures:

I don't know if Carenado and Alabeo are connected in any way but if this DA62 is as good as Alabeo's DA42 it will be totally awesome. Really looking forward to this one!

Yes, they are connected. And no, apart from external visuals the Alabeo DA42 is nothing like either a DA42 OR a Da42-NG or later DA42-VI but a curious mish-mash of both. A lot of work has been done in the Alabeo forum over at Avsim to get it to behave like the real thing.

Lets hope the DA62 is a lot better...

Carenado and Alabeo are the same stable. With the same results.
