• MK-Studios Previews New Rain Effects

    New rain effects in action!

Let's have a moment and think about rain reflections in a little bit different way. We decided to recreate precipitation effect realistically, where water may accumulate and make surfaces more reflective.

Another special thing is runway lightning. Did you know that most of the pilots in Lisbon ask ATC to dim the runway lights? We decided to implement them the way they're used in the real life.

Did you also know that edge (blue) lights are not powered? They're reflective to the airplane lights only. Let's keep energy usage low. Don't be surprised if the airport is not very bright at night! You'll see them close to your airplane only.

And the last tip for you. In real life only three holding points are lightened. These happen to be HS, S1 and HN. Don't be surprised if others are off... Yes, we simulated them. And yes, they will change color to green when you approach to them and want to enter the runway.
