    Coolsky - Super 80/Super 80 Pro/DC-9 Classic Coming For P3D

The Super 80 Classic, Super 80 Professional and DC-9 Classic are now coming to Prepar3D! We are currently in beta testing. Release expected soon.

During the last few months we've been busy preparing all our aircraft for Prepar3D version 4. We are currently beta testing the aircraft. We have just about completed testing of the DC-9 Classic and Super 80 Pro. Next up is the Super 80 Classic. Unfortunately, I don't have an exact release date.

The P3D versions of our aircraft will be almost the same as the old FSX versions. With the exception of the DC-9 Classic Flight Center which has been implemented in the Super 80 Classic and Super 80 Pro as well, there are no major upgrades or modifications to the aircraft or cockpits. The focus is on bringing the aircraft to P3D.

The P3D versions of the Super 80 Classic, Super 80 Pro and DC-9 Classic will be sold as separate products from the FSX versions. Pricing and possible discounts for existing customers has not been finalized yet.

Here are some screen shots from P3D:

Glad to hear this news. I had previously bought the DC-9 classic for FSX but for whatever reason, I was one of a tiny number of customers who were unlucky to have the installer not work. I attribute that issue to something being out of kilter on my computer which for whatever reason hanged up the install process. The seller (via Flight1) was kind enough to give me a refund as I had no way of using the software but I now have a brand new PC and P3Dv4 and intend on re-purchasing the product.

Nice to hear this is being produced. However as it is just a P3Dv4 compatibility update I hope there is a significant discount for existing FSX owners, otherwise I'll pass. I can still fly it in FSX.

I wish CLS would fix their MD-81. The only reason it can't be used in P3DV4 is that the sound files for it don't work. I am assuming they will fix it, re-brand it and then charge a fortune for it.
