• Infinite Flight Simulator Releases CRJ-700 and New Satellite Imagery

    Infinite Flight

    Infinite Flight 18.2

The next iteration of Infinite Flight is here and has upped the ante yet again in the mobile flight simulation space. The first of multiple CRJ series of aircraft is the CRJ-700, and newly added 15m satellite imagery brings more amazing views to your next flight.

    CRJ-700 Is Ready for Pushback

    Infinite Flight - CRJ-700

Creators of the mobile flight simulator, Infinite Flight have added to their fleet of aircraft with the Bombardier CRJ-700 regional jet. Flying Development Studio has included 13 new liveries, and some fresh animations on nose gear and suspension, exterior doors, and windshield wipers. The true-to-life flight physics have been modeled from real world CRJ aircraft, and rigorously tested by real-world, CRJ-rated captains.

    Infinite Flight - CRJ-700 cabin

Flying your favorite regional routes anywhere on the globe is even more enjoyable with new camera angles, highlighting a brand new, fully textured cabin interior. Wing flex can be enjoyed through added window views, and interior mood lighting is illuminated when the sun goes down.

    15m Satellite Imagery

With the introduction of global flight in 2017 came Infinite Flight's new and improved 15m satellite imagery. This is no small feat, since processing this data for the entire earth comes with its own set of challenges, including processing areas with predominant cloud cover. Scenery is loaded on-the-fly and cached locally for blazing fast rendering on the return flight.

    Infinite Flight - scenery

In 18.2, Infinite Flight released approximately 30% more 15 meter/pixel satellite imagery, with only South America and part of Southeast Asia not included (planned for later this year), all in the palm of each user's hands. Updated imagery is accompanied by an ever-expanding list of airports, including thousands of community-contributed improvements.

    User Interface Improvements

Infinite Flight is always looking for ways to bring data to the user in meaningful ways. 18.2 brings an improved user grade screen, which helps pilots work towards honing their skills to increase their experience grade. A higher grade means access to expert servers where pilots can roam the skies in good company with other serious pilots.
