The Piper Arrow III is a popular general aviation aircraft with high usage across the globe. The Piper Cherokee series started in 1961 with over 32,000 airframes being built to date, making this the fourth most built aircraft in the world behind the Cessna 172, Ilyushin Il-2 and Messerschmitt Bf 109.

Earlier this year Just Flight teamed up with Dovetail Games to produce the first official add-on for Flight Sim World, whilst at the same time adjusting the simulator's SDK for future use for other developers, and eventually the wider community.

In this review, I will be taking a look at the Just Flight Arrow III and discuss how it sits on the flight simulator market with the features it includes, and whether or not it is worthy to be Flight Sim World's first official add-on.

    Download And Install

Installation of this aircraft was simple. In my case I acquired the aircraft through Steam directly, meaning it was as easy as buying it from their store or inputting a key for the aircraft, leaving the install to be automatic.

Buying the aircraft through the FSPilotShop will be the same as any other Just Flight installation - you will be asked to input your key through an installer, and the rest of the setup will be automated.

Two manuals are included with the add-on, the standard 'Operations User Manual', which teaches you how to use the aircraft, and an 'Operating Data Manual', full of aircraft performance charts.

FSW is a great sim in process of getting much better. You should grab it, especially when on sale for the price of a couple of Big Macs.
With the imminent release of the the SDK, more is coming soon.

Not sure where you live but here in the mid-west a "couple" big macs cost more a lot less than $42.00. I'd gladly pay $7-8 bucks for this one, as you suggest, but not $42. Overpriced as so many add-on's are these days.

Sorry, was referring to the sim, not the add-on. It is expensive. Being retired have to watch my pennies.
