• Where in the World Feature 98

Where in the World #97 was again from Celso Horta Ramalho and featured Ilheus Airport SBIL.

Having said that, one of the guessers below said that as far as he could figure, the only airports served by ALL FOUR airlines is Sao Paulo and Rio and Rio's runways are #1 not short and #2 not runway 11. Still though, as you'll see below, most were able to identify SBIL.

    Those who guessed:

    Charlie Aron
    Eric Ellis
    Alex Mollen
    Khalid Al-Izzi
    Pete Middleton
    Nick Watson
    Rodolfo Astrada
    Ed Wilson
    John Chen
    Mark Printup
    Dave Foxmire
    Ulf Kristoffersson
    Antek Starzyk
    Tuna Bilgi
    Mike Guttman
    Sergio Almendra
    Brendan McCoy
    Graham Rabbitts
    Thomas Oftedal
    Mark Cutler
    Michael Stoorvogel
    Bojo Perez

    Wrong locations:

    • Guarulhos / Cumbica
    • Comandatuba SBTC
    • Santa Maria - Aracaju Int'l

    Onward to number 98!

Rodolfo Astrada writes, "Britons invented a sport yet did not win a major trophy until much later, these people did, more than once. People from far away (northern?) places like to come get some sun soaking here, mostly in January. Its sister city is near a world famous corporation with a very short name."

    Good luck simmers!

Once upon a time we had fun with the rtw every year, it doesn't even look like there's going to be one this time around.
