    Taburet - Night 3D France v3 for P3Dv4 and FSW

    Taburet has released another in their series of night enhancement sceneries. Night 3D France v3 for Prepar3D v4 and Flight Sim World (FSW) places specifically designed 3D light bulbs for 3D night light effects on top of roads to provide a night blooming display of lights all over France. It can be used on its own or on top of other scenery.

    Drzewiecki Design - NY Airports v2 X Updated

    New from Drzewiecki Design is an update to one of their New York City area scenery packages. The KJFK/KLGA/KTEB package has been updated to version 2.3 which includes improved light textures at all airports and a number of fixes aty KJFK. It also now includes experimental compatibility with Flight Sim World (FSW).

    Dynamic Weather Now Available In Flight Sim World

    Today marks the release of an exciting new feature in Flight Sim World. Dynamic Weather v1 is a new weather setting that reads data from weather stations across the world and determines the conditions from METAR strings.

    Flight Sim World Enters Next Phase of Development

    Dovetail Games has announced the next stage of development for Flight Sim World. This second phase will see the sim released from Steam's Early Access program as the development team moves towards making bigger, less frequent updates. Scheduled improvements include more aircraft including airliners, IFR and ATC updates, dynamic and live weather and more.

    The latest terrain mesh from Taburet for flight simulator is Nepal and Bhutan 10m Mesh. The scenery enhances one of the most mountainous regions of the world with much more accurate elevation data. It is compatible with most other scenery add-ons and works with FSX, FSX Steam, P3D and FSW.

    Announcing Cockpit-Fest USA 2018

    During 2018 there will actually be two Cockpit-Fest USA events. "Warbirds On Parade 2018" will be held at the Cold War Air Museum in September. Cockpit-Fest USA will also team up with FlightSimCon which is holding their sixth annual flight simulator conference in Dallas during June.

    Review: Turbulent Designs Big Bear Airport

    Turbulent Design has created the first add-on scenery for Dovetail Games' Flight Sim World, showcasing Big Bear Airport in California. The airport and surrounding area include a huge amount of detail and show what can be done in FSW. It does lack some things, like seasonal textures, notes reviewer Michael Hayward but he finds it a place he enjoys flying to and from.

    FlightSim.Com Member Focus: Mario Donick

    Mario Donick uses X-Plane as his main simulator, and sometimes P3D and Flight Sim World. As well as flying both simulated and real aircraft, Mario also writes reviews, tutorials and manuals for FS MAGAZIN (German bi-monthly print magazine) and aids add-on developers, such as vFlyteAir, and on occasion, Aerobask). Mario also provides X-Plane customer support for Aerosoft and works for a (non-flight simulation related) communications service provider.
