Is this something new, or just an ad for the same one that has been around for years? Is there something different about this?

I Believe Its the same. They're good. I'd owned 2 of them in 10+ years . Otherwise it will say something like version 2.0 or the new ...

Sure looks like the one sitting here before me which is about two years old. By the way I only went to the Logitech sticks after my last Microsoft "rumbler" gave out. I may have purchased a half dozen over the latter years (I have three computers with Fltsims on them) and only one bum stick in the bunch. ......

This is a fairly young joystick. I bought it about two years ago. I am very happy with it, couldn't have asked for any better.

Please do read what the announcement on our home page says: "Now available at the FS Pilot Shop...". Hopefully if you read that statement the meaning of the announcement is clear.

Have had this one, is great and very reliable. I upgraded to a Cyborg X which is just awesome and also worth checking out. Although more expensive than the Logitech it has all the same functions and more and the feel is great due to the fully customizable grip that has more adjustments on it than the Queen has hats.

Had three of these over the years. All I could find locally. Every one ends up, like the one I have now, with a weak spring and doesn't return to center for either the rudder or aileron to the neutral position. I think they're junk, but inexpensive and easy to find junk.

It was my first joystick, eleven years ago, I think. It worked well during four years, in FS 2004 and FSX, butt when I started with dogfights and violent manouvers, with IL2, it crashed and became impossible to calibrate.

I have owned three since 1998 - very reliable under high use. It is also very similar to the REAL THING in military tactical aircraft, of which I have flown many. The feel is virtually identical.

I've had one for over 10 years and never had a problem. Works very well with Freespace also. Just have to reverse the throttle axis. I love it. I'll get another one when or if this one gives up.
