Cessna's 441 Conquest II was its first turboprop aircraft. Introduced in the late 1970s, it was an advancement of Cessna's nearly identical 404 Titan that was powered by twin piston engines. It seats one or two pilots and up to 10 passengers or up to 4,168 pounds (1,891 kilograms) of cargo. Its range is 2,194 nautical miles (4,064 kilometers), and its service ceiling is 35,000 feet (10,675 meters).

Many Cessna 441 Conquest IIs were modified with Garrett TPE331 engines for increased power, higher ceiling, farther range, greater fuel efficiency, and reduced maintenance costs. The modifications also replaced the stock three-bladed propellers with four-bladed Hartzell propellers that enabled faster climb rate, increased cruising speed, reduced cabin noise, and better ground clearance. An NTS prevents the propeller from driving the engine when power is too low for overcoming the windmilling effect.

With almost 400 built from 1979 to 1985, the Cessna 441 Conquest II was typically flown for corporate travel and by air-charter operators. I found preowned Cessna 441's for sale for as much as $1.5 million U.S. dollars.

For general comparison, the Cessna 441 Conquest II is about one-third larger and almost twice as heavy as the MSFS twin-engine Beechcraft Baron, and it is about four-fifths the size and about two-thirds the weight of the twin-engine Beechcraft Super King Air 350. Like the Super King Air, it has high altitude capacity, and its cabin is pressurized.
