    Aircraft Recognition Quiz

    By Ray Andersen

So, just how well do you know your aircraft? Not just real world but also what's available in the flightsim world? Well, here is a challenge to test your knowledge based on some pictures of some well known and some lesser known planes.

Everyone who tries gets bragging rights but just to make things interesting, the first person to get all 15 answers right will also get a one year First Class Membership to FlightSim.Com.

So here is the challenge. Below you will find screen shots of five aircraft, numbered 1 to 5. For each on tell us:

    1. The flightsim developer of the plane pictured
    2. The real world manufacturer of the plane
    3. The model/type/designation/nickname of the plane

So that's 15 answers, 3 for each picture. Send your entries to:

    3. Question 3 - click for larger picture

    4. Question 4 - click for larger picture

    5. Question 5 - click for larger picture

One final note: assuming people enjoy this challenges we'll keep doing them once a month and will need additional aircraft for the questions. If you would like, email me a picture along with the three answers for it and we may just use it in a future quiz!
