      Review: Orbx CityScene Barcelona

      In this review Michael Hayward takes a look at the second release from Orbx in their CityScene range of products, CityScene Barcelona for FSX and Prepar3D. Created by Allen Kriesman, the scenery is incredibly detailed and brings the city to life with accurate and detailed buildings (thousands of them), vegetation, roads, important landmarks and so on.

      Virtual Festival of Aerobatic Teams 2018

      The Virtual Festival of Aerobatic Teams or VFAT is a big international airshow like RIAT or MAKS. The pilots mostly simulate the displays of real aerobatic teams like the Patrouille Suisse, Thunderbirds, Blue Angels, Russian Knights and Blue Impulse, however, many teams also create their own spectacular displays instead of simulating real life counterparts. Held annually since 2007, the event is live streamed for anyone to watch.

      FlightSim.Com Christmas Logo Competition

Bill Womack from Orbx has kindly agreed to be the judge, with the top three designs all receiving a First Class Membership for a year.       Vertx Simulations Opens New Web Site

      While continuing to work on their DA62 for P3D v4 announced in September, Sean Moloney and Vertx Simulations has just opened a new web site on which to display and support their products. The DA62 is expected to be released in the next few weeks. In the meantime, several preview videos are now available for viewing.

      Leonardo Software House Announces MD-83 And MD-88 Variants

      On their Facebook page Leonardo Software House has announced a payware extension to their popular Fly The Maddog X recreation of the MD-82 jetliner for Prepar3D. The extension will add the MD-83 and MD-88 variants and will be for P3D v4 only.
