      France VFR announces the release of a new scenery of Poitou-Charentes VFR 3DA for Prepar3D v4 and v5. This regional scenery includes many airports and cities. It features enhanced ground textures, high definition mesh, obstacle and VFR landmarks plus many other objects and buildings integrated into the environment.

      Just Flight continues to work on Traffic Global for FSX and Prepar3D and expects it done with early access and out as a full release very soon. When that happens they will be supplying a bonus set of general aviation aircraft liveries for users; today's announcement shows a selection of them.

      FlyTampa Previews Sydney V2

      Scenery developer FlyTampa has released some new screen shots of their upcoming Sydney Kingsford Smith V2 package. They report this will be ready "very soon" for Prepar3D v5 and that an MSFS 2020 version is also coming shortly, along with other airports.

      Just Flight/DC Designs Concorde Update

      Last we heard, the Concorde being created for P3D by DC Designs was ready for release, but today publisher Just Flight has released some more teaser screen shots, all taken in Prepar3D v5. It's still described as "soon to be released".

      DC Designs Concorde Ready For Release

      DC Designs has announced that their Concorde for FSX and Prepar3D is ready for release, and have provided a last set of screen shots of the jetliner. Work will now continue onto the Super Hornet package and then the F-15 Eagle package, with bug fixes and PBR on both. After that conversion will begin to MSFS 2020 versions.

      ATSimulations Releases Piaggio P.149

      ATSimulations announces the release of the Piaggio P.149 for FSX and Prepar3D. The Piaggio P.149 is a 1950s Italian utility and liaison aircraft designed and built by Piaggio. The aircraft was built under license by Focke-Wulf in West Germany as the FWP.149D. An MSFS 2020 version is already in the works.

      MK-Studios Dublin Coming For MSFS

      MK-Studios reports that their Dublin scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is getting close to release, and have provided some new screen shots. But they have a bunch of other projects in the works including Keflavik for MSFS 2020, plus Helsinki, Fuerteventura and Rome for both P3D/MSFS.

      Rikoooo Boeing 787 VC/Merge Released

      After five months of production Erik Bender (aka Rikoooo) presents a new FSX/P3D virtual cockpit for the Boeing 787. This cockpit is the most advanced of all (in the freeware category) and is based on MagKnight's 3D assets. But it's also a complete package, merging the 3D models of the Boeing 787-8 / -9 / -10 GEnx from TDS hence the name "Family".

      HiFi Simulation Technologies Projects Update

      HiFi Simulation Technologies has been providing popular weather add-ons for flight simulators for many years. In today's announcement, they are looking into bringing Active Sky technology to the new Microsoft Flight Simulator but currently see MSFS 2020 as a "future potential platform". Their announcement also includes news on their X-Plane 11 and Prepar3D products currently in the works.
