New from Golden Age Simulations for FSX and Prepar3D is the Naval Aircraft Factory N3N-3. First flown in the 1930's, the N3N was a tandem-seat, open cockpit biplane used for primary flight training. Included are both land and seaplane versions in several authentic period liveries.
Leonardo Software House announces an updated v2.2b838 for the Prepar3D 64 bit version of their Fly The Maddog X jetliner. P3D v4 and v5 users will now benefit from an improved installer, various bug fixes and a new Simbrief integration.

The pilots and controllers of Boston Virtual ARTCC invite all flight simmers to join the 23rd annual Boston Tea Party on August 6. ATC coverage will be available across the northeastern US on VATSIM, the free ATC network. The free event will feature air traffic control coverage at Boston (KBOS) and nearby regional airports. Coverage is also expected at neighboring facilities including New York, Cleveland, Washington, and more.
Honeycomb Aeronautical has announced that their latest flightsim yoke, the Alpha Flight Controls XPC is now available for pre-order. Users will have to be patient, though, as shipping will not begin until mid-September.
FlightControlReplay v4.5 is compatible with MSFS advanced airliners add-ons, with Top Gun Maverick Free DLC for MSFS and also with rkApps Fsrealistic Pro. FlightControlReplay (FCR) is the most complete and professional tool to create Replays, Videos of your flights in MSFS, P3D5 - 1 and FSX.
Several weeks ago, Fulcrum One announced a Kickstarter campaign to launch their six axis USB throttle quadrant for PC flight simulators. Based on feedback, they have now enhanced the offer to initial supporters. It will now include their "Pro Jetliner Throttle", which means getting four engine thrust levers with working reverser levers and TOGA and auto throttle disconnect buttons. This was originally going to be an add-on but will now be included for Kickstarter backers.
CR1 Software has announced that they are working on the famous Ford Trimotor, with versions for MSFS 2020, P3D v4 and v5. The models are 100% complete rebuilds, both sets will have 4AT and 5AT variants as well as military float versions and cargo and airline versions. Release is expected by early September.
iniScene has big scenery development plans for the coming months, as just revealed in a detailed post in the iniBuilds forums. These include an update to their London Heathrow for MSFS, an X-Plane version of KBUF Buffalo Niagara, completion of KSAT San Antonio for MSFS and other projects.
The next FlightSimExpo is just over a year away! Today it was announced that it will be held next June at Lone Star Flight Museum, Ellington Airport, Houston on June 23-25, 2023.

After being quiet for a few months, now FSLabs offers a detailed update on the development plans. The have been investigating MSFS 2020 and are now planning on bringing many of their aircraft to that platform. They are also working on the A320 NEO, Concorde and A330 for Prepar3D and are planning an update to their A319/A320/A321 series.
