    Virtual Festival of Aerobatic Teams 2018

    The Virtual Festival of Aerobatic Teams or VFAT is a big international airshow like RIAT or MAKS. The pilots mostly simulate the displays of real aerobatic teams like the Patrouille Suisse, Thunderbirds, Blue Angels, Russian Knights and Blue Impulse, however, many teams also create their own spectacular displays instead of simulating real life counterparts. Held annually since 2007, the event is live streamed for anyone to watch.

    FlightSim.Com Christmas Logo Competition

    Review: Thrustmaster Pendular Rudder System

    The rudder may be somewhat overlooked as an aircraft control but having proper rudder pedals can actually make your flight simulator time much more real. Airline pilot Tony Vallillo puts the Thrustmaster Pendular Rudder System to the test -- the first time he's had simulator rudders -- and finds they add much more to the experience than expected. Though probably too pricey for some, they are well worth it for the serious sim pilot.

    Reknowned sound engineer Benoit Plamandon announces the release of his latest sound pack, for the Project Open Sky Boeing 747-200/300 with GE CF6 turbofan engines. This audio project represents more than two years of development work to capture the unique sound of the big turbofan engines. The sound packs, for FS2004 and FSX, are freeware and available exclusively from the FlightSim.Com file library.
