The scenery includes animated waterfalls, photographic textures, custom objects and a complex set of terrain layers to form the falls basin shape and vertical walls typical of Niagara Falls. It can be flown by day or night.

    HiFi Simulation Technologies Projects Update

    HiFi Simulation Technologies has been providing popular weather add-ons for flight simulators for many years. In today's announcement, they are looking into bringing Active Sky technology to the new Microsoft Flight Simulator but currently see MSFS 2020 as a "future potential platform".     Skyline Simulations Releases Gibraltar XP

    Skyline Simulations announces the release of Gibraltar scenery for X-Plane 11. Announced well over a year ago, this interesting region and airport are now a destination for X-Plane pilots. The airport is a perfect representation and of course The Rock and other landmarks are well represented. Plans are in the works to also offer this for P3D and MSFS. Samos Airport will be the next project.

    X-Plane 11.50 Now Released

    The team at Laminar Research has announced that X-Plane 11.50 has now been officially released. This is a major update that completely rewrites the rendering engine to use modern rendering APIs: Vulkan (on Windows and Linux systems) and Metal (on Mac). This offers a performance increase over the previously used OpenGL and should reduce things like stuttering.

    Review: Jenn Aviation Brewster F2A Buffalo
