    Aerosoft Announces OnAir: Airline Manager

    Aerosoft's Mathijs Kokk just contacted us with a project that's of great personal interest to him: OnAir, an airline manager system for both flight simulator and tycoon type game enthusiasts.     Review: Orbx - TrueEarth US Washington

    Like many flight simulator pilots, Shawn Weigelt enjoys flying over his home territory and had long awaited some truly great scenery of Washington State in the US.     FlyJSim Releases Rainman Package Trailer

    FlyJSim challenges X-Plane pilots to "master the elements" with their Rainman Package, now under development. The upgrade will apply to their 732 TwinJet Professional and 727 Series Professional. The new video demonstrates the rain effects and shows upgrades terrain radar, flight directors and more.

    VSKYLABS Test-Pilot: He-162 Project News Flash

    VSKYLABS has posted a video and other information providing some news on their upcoming He-162. Expected to be released for X-Plane late this year, the video shows some action from initial VR sessions. Significant progress is also reported on the unusual BMW-003 engine that is an important part of the plane.

    Drzewiecki Design Previews Tokyo Project

    Drzewiecki Design has provide a brief update on their Tokyo project for Prepar3D and X-Plane 11. The landmark volcano Mount Fuji will be included as well as notable structures such as the famous Tokyo Tower and the 634 meter high Tokyo Skytree.

    UK2000 Scenery - Inverness Xtreme 2019

    UK2000 Scenery announces the release of their first new product featuring HD and multi material textures plus improved models. Inverness Xtreme 2019 is primarily made for Prepar3D v4. There will also be an X-Plane version and later versions for FSX and P3D v3.

    Carenado Previews F50 For X-Plane

    Carenado appears to be making good progress on their F50 turboprop airliner for X-Plane. They've just released a new batch of screen shots that show a variety of exterior liveries as well as the cockpit. No further details are provided but it's likely to have features similar to their previously released FSX/P3D version.

    Review: Aerosoft - Airport Anchorage For X-Plane

    Sometimes it's nice to look at a somewhat older product and see how it compares with the latest. Patrick Putlend does that by looking at Airport Anchorage for X-Plane from Aerosoft. He finds that while it shows its age in some areas, it's still a scenery he'd recommend that realistically creates an unusual and scenic location worth flying into.

    Verticalsim Studios VStates Adds Arkansas

    Verticalsim Studios is offering a freeware ortho scenery project for X-Plane intended to eventually cover the entire US mainland. Sourced from government sources it involves hand color graded tiles that integrate seamlessly with Ortho4XP.The latest addition to VStates is Arkansas, just released today, only a few days after the release of Kansas.

    Vidan Design Previews Billund XP

    On their Facebook page, Vidan Design has provided some preview images of their Billund XP scenery. The images show completely new ortho photos that will also be included in the next update for Billund Airport EKBI for FSX and Prepar3D.

    For the seventh year Just Flight will be sponsoring a show for flghtsimmers at the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford in October. Flight Sim 2019 this year has been expanded to two days, giving visitors more time to meet the exhibitors, enjoy presentations and tour the museum.

    Neil's Tours announces the release of the final volume in the series for X-Plane, Westwood Walks In The Lake District Volume 4 North West. As with previous volumes, this is a guided tour of part of the scenic Lake District in the UK. The northwestern regions starts at Borrowdale and finishes off with a tour around Lake Windemere. It includes scenery plus a 70 page guide book.
