    Global Content Coming To X-Plane Mobile

    The team over at Laminar Research aren't messing around when they use the word 'global'. Not content with just improving the desktop version of X-Plane, it looks like the mobile app is getting the full treatment.

    The PA31T Cheyenne II is a bigger and more powerful plane than most of the GA aircraft in the Carenado hangar.     Aerosoft - Paderborn XP

    Aerosoft - Dortmund XP V1.3 Update Released

    Discover the center of the Ruhr region in X-Plane 11 – the scenery Dortmund XP is a complete recreation of the city of Dortmund in the flight simulator. Besides the entire urban area of Dortmund, Aerosoft has included the Airport Dortmund (EDLW) as well as the airfield Hengsen-Opherdicke (EO08) and its surroundings were created and included in this scenery package. Version 1.3 is now available.

    Orbx - 1S2 Darrington Municipal Airport Coming To X-Plane 11

    Located in a beautiful valley, Darrington Municipal Airport boasts one of the most glorious settings in the entire flight simulator world! Orbx has announced that scenery for 1S2 will shortly be available for X-Plane 11. The airport and town will be modeled using photos taken on location and will blend with TrueEarth Washington.

    Windsock Simulations Announces Partnership

    Windsock Simulations has announced a new partnership with Sim-Wings in order to port Sim-Wings' airport scenery to the X-Plane platform. The resulting conversions will be published by Aerosoft. Sim-Wings has made quite a few scenery add-ons so this could be a significant influx of new X-Plane scenery.

    Carenado FA50 For X-Plane Coming Soon

    In a brief Facebook post Carenado has announced that their FA50 bizjet for X-Plane is "coming very soon". Along with the announcement came a series of detailed interior and exterior screen shots that show the fine details of the aircraft.

    Just Flight Previews PA-38 Tomahawk

    Just Flight has announced that their PA-38 Tomahawk is nearly ready for release for FSX and Prepar3D. They've also announced that an X-Plane version is in the works for later release. A new set of screen shots is included with the announcement.

    Orbx - EGNX East Midlands Airport Released For X-Plane

    Orbx announces the release of EGNX East Midlands Airport for X-Plane. EGNX East Midlands Airport is an international airport in the East Midlands of England. The airfield was originally built as a Royal Air Force station known as RAF Castle Donington. The scenery is fully integrated with TrueEarth GB South and features PBR textures, hi-res buildings, a fleet of static aircraft and more.

    Milviz DHC3-T For X-Plane Almost Finished

    With little detail supplied, Milviz reports today that their DHC3-T for X-Plane is nearing completion. In partnership with vFlyteAir they will shortly be bringing this iconic bushplane to X-Plane. Their version will be the enhanced aircraft with turboprop power for the popular PT6A-34.

    Review: Carenado S550 Citation II For X-Plane 11

    For pilots who want to be fast but agile, a small bizjet is the ideal ride. Carenado provides a great choice for X-Plane pilots with their S550 Citation II. Reviewer Rohan Nair takes up the duties of a corporate pilot and finds the visual fidelity and quality downright excellent. He does find some issues with a few things but overall is pleased with the aircraft.
