    Dick Mohatt enjoys flying FSX and finding airports that need improvement. Starting in the mid-West where he grew up, his range has expanded to include some larger airports as well as military bases. Though never a pilot, Dick was in the Air Force and now being retired gives him time to create and share his creations with the rest of us.

    Review: Orbx Washington Airports

    Orbx has a long history of creating highly detailed sceneries of rather obscure but scenic and colorful airports, and their recent additions for X-Plane 11 are no exception.     X-Plane 11.40 Beta 8 And A Roadmap Update

    In his latest posting, Laminar Research developer Ben Supnik presents the most detailed look at the X-Plane 11.40 betas and the roadmap for future changes. X-Plane 11.40 is a physics release, based on six months of work on just that aspect of the sim. It includes an experimental flight model that can be turned on/off to allow add-on designers to test this model of the future. Ben covers a lot more, including Vulkan and Metal support coming in 11.50.

    Heads-Up On IVAO New Software - Flight Plan Tool

    IVAO has sent us news about a new Flight Plan Tool. Their New Pilot Client is being designed in a way that Flight Plan Management will occur on a web-based platform, instead of inside the pilot client, as in the current Client IVAP.

    PKSIM Projects Updates

    PKSIM has provided an updated of future projects following the launch of Bogota. Scenery of Lima - Jorge Chavez International Airport is already in the works. Rionegro is in plan to make it native P3D v4. Finally in plan is an update to Barranquila with things like new facades and SODE jetways.

    Team SDB Scenery - RAF Little Rissington for FSX/P3D

    Team SDB expands their range of UK military airfields with the release of RAF Little Rissington for FSX and Prepar3D. Originally built as a paved airfield for WWII, this scenery depicts the airfield as it was in the 1970's when the base was home to the RAF Central Flying School with Hunting Jet Provost T3 and Scottish Aviation Bulldog T1 trainers.
