    Remastered Wright Brothers Photos And FlightSim Historical Flight

    Flightsim fan Laurie Doering presents a video documentary on the Wright brothers first flights in 1903 at Kitty Hawk. He's taken original photographs from 1900-1905 and remastered them to tell the story of the development of the airplane. As a conclusion to the story, he uses MSFS 2020 for a scenic flight around Kitty Hawk as it looks today.

    Review: Aerosoft - SAM Follow Me XP

    The "Scenery Animation Manager" series brings added levels of realism to airports. In this review Joshua Moore tries SAM Follow Me for X-Plane, which provides a follow me vehicle for taxiing guidance and a marshaller to help with parking. At a big airport this can be a nice touch and given that it works anywhere it does a reasonably accurate job of it.

    DC3 Airways Plans Recreation Of Berlin Airlift

    This February, virtual airline DC3 Airways will recreate the 1948/49 Berlin Airlift. A series of flights are planned using a total of 14 airfields, with some flights in bad weather and some at night, adhering as far as possible to the conditions and events of the period.

    IndiaFoxtEcho has issued a detailed announcement about the status of their F-35 project, including its X-Box and Marketplace release as well as current operating issues. Also mentioned is that the Ford-class carriers add-on should be released shortly and a full roadmap update will be coming in a few weeks.

    FlyingIron Simulations Project Status Report MSFS/DCS

    FlyingIron Simulations has posted a lengthy status report on their current projects for both MSFS 2020 and DCS. For MSFS, they have announced the F6F Hellcat, an important US Navy fighter of WWII. For DCS World, they are working on the A-7E Corsair II.
