Just Flight obviously has a connection with this airport too, as a number of aircraft they have modeled are based here. If you enjoy a quiet country airfield with lots of detail, this may be just the place for you too.

    While we're stuck at home due to the coronavirus, A2A Simulations has been generous enough to offer one of their great Accu-sim aircraft, the P-40 Warhawk, for free. Author Ian Radcliffe, while a big A2A fan, had never tried this plane before but grabbed it now and felt obligated to give A2A a "thank you".

    Review: Turbulent Designs TerraFlora XP

    TerraFlora, which is available from Turbulent Design for X-Plane, FSX and Prepar3D, is one of those products that improves the look of the entire world. In this case, it's trees that get improved, making scenery more accurate in color and variety. Reviewer Michael Hayward tries the X-Plane version and was quite impressed with the results.

    Review: Aerosoft - Geneva Professional

    Geneva Professional from Aerosoft lets Prepar3D v4 pilots fly into Switzerland's second busiest airport, located close to the towering Alps. Reviewer Alex Dickinson found it to be highly accurate and well modeled, with smooth frame rates and fun to fly into.

    Review: Orbx Orcas Island

    Orcas Island was one of the earliest Orbx sceneries, and the area itself is one of the favorites of reviewer Shawn Weigelt. The original version, though, was for Microsoft Flight Simulator and Shawn wanted a version for X-Plane. Well, that is now available and Shawn was very pleased to find that is lives up to expectations.

    Review: Canada4XPlane - CYQB Quebec City Int'l

    The first flight simulator scenery release from new developer Canada4XPlane is a winner, says reviewer Jennifer Kimball. The scenery is of CYQB - Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport, the main airport in that region of Canada.     Virtual United States Space Program Returns

    After being closed for over 14 years, the Virtual United States Space Program (VUSSP), has set a date for its re-launch.     Virtual United Social Club Resumes Operations

    VirtualUA has earlier announced a merger with AAVirtual but apparently this has not worked out and they have "unmerged". The group is returning to their previous Virtual United Social Club name and domain. Having just celebrated eight years of operations, the group is working tirelessly to resume normal operations.

    VSKYLABS Announces Test-Pilot FA Tensor 600X Project

    VSKYLABS announces another aircraft under development for X-Plane 11. The Test-Pilot FA Tensor 600X Project features a modern two seat gyrocopter. Developed fro X-Plane's experimental flight model, it will be a fully featured, VR capable aircraft. Two cockpits will be offered, one with classic gauges and the other with dual G1000 panels.

    X-Plane developer TorqueSim has provided an extensive development update on their SR22 For X-Plane 11. Covered in detail are the aerodynamics of the airplane, with a flight model by X-Aerodynamics. It will accurately match real-world cruise speeds, rate of climb, stall speeds, glide ratio, etc.
