• Remastered Wright Brothers Photos And FlightSim Historical Flight

    Flightsim fan Laurie Doering presents a video documentary on the Wright brothers first flights in 1903 at Kitty Hawk. He's taken original photographs from 1900-1905 and remastered them to tell the story of the development of the airplane. As a conclusion to the story, he uses MSFS 2020 for a scenic flight around Kitty Hawk as it looks today.

    Review: Aerosoft - SAM Follow Me XP

    The "Scenery Animation Manager" series brings added levels of realism to airports. In this review Joshua Moore tries SAM Follow Me for X-Plane, which provides a follow me vehicle for taxiing guidance and a marshaller to help with parking. At a big airport this can be a nice touch and given that it works anywhere it does a reasonably accurate job of it.

    IndiaFoxtEcho FSX/P3D Aircraft Now Freeware

    Last summer IndiaFoxtEcho announced that they were withdrawing their FSX and Prepar3D products from sale. Today they have released the first batch of them as freeware, as a sign of gratitude to the flightsim community for their support over the years. Additional planes will be released at a later date.
