  1. Is Terrorism Better Conceptualized As a Foreign or Domestic Policy Issue?

In 2008 I was sent to Almaty for a 40-day course of flight executives. After passing them and passing the exam and some questions on geography, I got the right to become the flight director.
The instructors of various schools and flying places start hundreds of enthusiasts from the top down from small slides in the calmest weather conditions. But they do it as accurately as possible, selecting start points and all other conditions, as well as doing all the launch operations for the pilot ...

  2. JD-Slow-Thumbs, Found A Big Wind Tunnel

    I think I found a wind-tunnel, a big wind-tunnel.
I was trying to figure out how to setup and document a KF-airfoil experiment tied to the front of my car without something breaking lose and breaking my windshield. Since 1979 the Collings Foundation has assembled a collection of classic cars, historic aircraft and more recently military vehicles. The large bombers tour all around the country, some of the other flybable planes are based in warmer regions than New England, ...
  5. Win10, the good, the bad, the perceptions.

There has been a lot said around win10, much of it reconstituted from others experience or from other views and not a lot from first hand experience. A lot has been said around privacy and the fact that win10 collects data and meta data about users habits and who has possible access to the data collected.
There has been some spirited and slightly heated discussions on the message boards around many subjects related to win10 some of which I have been party to and some that I have thought ...
