    Ian, I have now finished the Verity Book and agree it is tremendously informative about these flights - well worth aquiring if anyone likes this sort of flight simulation. Thanks, Allan

    Not sure what specific mult-engined aircraft you want? What era? Have you tried searching the file library here for specific aircraft you want? Or look at www.dc3airways.com which has good aircraft/traning materials for Dakotas if you want to join a virtual airline, perhaps?

    Similarly, thanks for the Marks reference; my local library has a copy so I have put it on hold. Small world; he is the son of the bookstore owner Frank Marks, of Helene Hanff's '84 Charing Cross Rd' fame.
