Thanks for your help Nels, appreciate it.

Generally, I get to uploaded files within a day after they are uploaded. Either upload method is treated the same, I usually combine all the files from both upload streams and combine them before I start working.

On occasion, files do get lost or have something wrong that prevents them being added to the file library. If two days or most goes by, email me and ask.

I've never done any uploads so I don't know what the two methods are. As regards what might be easier for Nels, write to him as [email protected] or ask him in Outer Marker. I'm sure he'll respond sometime during the USA day.

Actually, is one method of uploading preferential to the other?

I both enjoy how it flies and how it looks. I just downloaded it and decided to have a go at another repaint for fun and possibly some practice.

As for aerobatics, some love it, some just don't enjoy it as much. There are, of course, those in between. Everyone has their tastes for different styles of flight.

I was being half-facetious. A fellow simmer insisted that I install the Christensen Eagle that he flies. I did, and found it to be a marvelous aerobatic aircraft, just as you so obviously have.

Trouble is, I have no interest in flying aerobatics. I like to watch it, but having done 1-2 hours of basic aerobatics in a Citabria (I have a PPL) I discovered that it's not for me. Rather, my thing is hand-flying big iron in IFR conditions.

So is your thing flying the Eagle, which motivates the repaints, or do you just like the way the aircraft looks? (I do too.)

This biplane is special though. It's fully aerobatic which is why I chose it.

If only I liked biplanes ...

Yeah, I think he's allowed time off for the great work around here. I'm not that worried but can't wait to see in the library!

    dobar,

Have patience. Webmaster Nels Anderson personally handles all file library submissions but I'll bet that he simply couldn't get to it.

As he told me very early this morning by email when he explained that he could not process my article yet, today is Sunday and even he needs to take a Sunday off now and then.

But if you're unsure about the method for packaging and uploading scenery, how about taking the question to one of the forums, whichever one seems most appropriate.

I was really just messing around with my screenshots and seeing what the image manipulation software can do.

And what was the feeling my image provoked?

Why did you blur the photo of the Spit? Was it to provoke exactly the feeling that I got from it?

Good! I didn't know it was here until I saw Blog Entries under someone's details and then the 'Blogs' link on the top.

Yes, it is a Spit, edited to be blurred.

Beccles Airfield is in Suffolk, United Kingdom. It is near the most easterly point in Britain and is the only licensed aerodrome in Suffolk. When I get the chance, and when the weather is good, I go up there and help as I live by it. Most of the time, I operate the radio to the aircraft, which is enjoyable. As I said before, I will be restarting the old sim with someone and hopefully using it for some training. Here's a link for you:

    dobar,

Somebody (me) IS going to be telling the site membership about the blogging feature. I have a feature article in the works even as we speak.

Your avatar looks like a Spit but it also looks like a grainy wartime photo. Would you care to comment?

And tell us about Beccles Airfield -- I've not heard of it.
