  1. Hi again, ok, but my previous message, may also be false, it now appears, as it seems again, whatever FSX aircraft is, when I use the menus they still crash, as I just tried another flight, under the new settings, and it crashed again within 10 to 15 minutes of flying, after I used either the ‘tower’, ‘runway’, or ‘AI Traffic’ menu buttons. I just got another type of faulting module, in event viewer, from FSX, and this time it says: MSCTF.dll. I’ll have to set some time aside this weekend, to have a more thorough search through everything, and maybe resume everything, either on Friday or Saturday, as whatever the issue seems to be at seems to be very complex.
  2. It was the AIA Boeing 757-300, which I believe had a - Default FSX: Boeing 737_400 Gauge installed, and every time I tried loading that aircraft, or any other add-on or Default FSX aircraft, with the: Boeing 737_400.dll gauge, it would ask me in a pop-up message, “do I want to trust this gauge/software?”. And if I select the ‘yes button’, then apparently loads of bad things start happening. While we’ve been speaking on here, I have tried replacing the default gauge, on all of my addon (non-FSX aircraft), eg Boeing 737-300 to Boeing 767-400: inclusive, with the Default FSX, Boeing 737-800 gauge, I’ll also let you know how that turns out in an hour or so on here. But it’s worth noting on here (At least), that the gauge, that seems to be causing the problems, was copied over from my previous PC, and I know that FSX Gauges use .cab files, so if any of them are corrupted, it can cause this type of error possibly (AI_Player.dll).
  3. I tried doing that in the time in between writing on here and waiting for a reply, with some minor success, eg I first removing one of the excess lines at random from the FSX.cfg file, and when I loaded one of my addon (non FSX default) aircraft, it again asked me again, to see if I wanted to log/trust that particular extra “Boeing 737_400.dll gauge”, and I selected the ‘No option’, this time. And I then reloaded the aircreation Microlight aircraft, that had previously crashed straight away, and this time it didn’t crash straight away and the menus seem to work, when I selected the ‘tower’ or ‘AI traffic’ menu options, but I haven’t had a chance yet to go on a long flight yet to see if it will crash after its usual 10 to 15 minutes though. But however, when I rechecked my ‘FSX.cfg’, just a few minutes ago, I noticed that the 2 separate gauges for the same plane, eg ‘Boeing 737_400.dll’, had reappeared, which may indicate that next time I load the program/game again, it will crash again.
  4. @jorgen.s.andersen @tiger1962 They also be another 3rd possible explanation, as I believe I’ve narrowed down the problem further, it seems like my above post, may be in error, eg not the problem at fault. I have checked my FSX.cfg file, for any signs of errors, and I have discovered two lines of the same gauge, which is the: B737_400.dll, there are currently to trusted string lines showing, for the same gauge. Furthermore, I have noticed that when I’m using any of my add-on or non-default aircraft, when I select either the ‘Tower’ menu option, or either the ‘AI Traffic’ menu option, it crashes almost instantly, eg - it pauses with a Windows circle cursor, and then it CTD. Furthermore, I tried starting up my desired flight plan, time date and original location, in the FSX start-up menu area, and selected a default FSX aircraft, for example, they Microlight AirCreation one, and it crashed almost instantly, eg it paused with the cursor, and it then crashed/closed even more quickly. Could fish then be indicative of a default aircraft error? As why are there 2 separate gauges, with different ‘letter/number codes or IDs’, eg - B737_400.dll in FSX.cfg?
  5. @jorgen.s.andersen @tiger1962 They also also be another explanation, after my new PC arrived, which was the same model as my old PC - My new Dell XPS 8500, there were a few windows related problems on my old machine, such as boot up/UEFI startup issues, so I ended up transferring some items to OneDrive, from my old PC, as I knew at the time that it’s death would be unavoidable/imminent. However, something might have happened during copying, some of my aircraft flowers to my new machine, as I believe the Internet may have a problem and it must’ve stop the process prematurely possibly, so maybe it’s a that certain aircraft folders or files have been transferred either some in full/entirety, or at least partly, or with missing necessary elements, and it’s caused a problem with my game? The only thing is that if there was a problem with those files being transferred to my new dell PC, I didn’t copy any of the old FSX DLL’s/main files, and I just limited the transfer, to only both my scenery and aircraft files?

  7. @tiger1962 I had to do a data recovery process, on my old PC hard drive (My first/previous Dell XPS 8500), and some of the data was wiped, however this is unlikely to be the case of a corrupted livery, in this case, which had been transferred over I believe, as I previously removed all of my addon (Non-Default) FSX aircraft, and it’s still came up with the same CTD issue.
  8. Hi there @jorgen.s.andersen and @tiger1962 I previously had both all the: UK2000 Xtreme and UK2000 HD - FSX Scenery installed, plus UT2, but all have been removed and not reintroduced to my current FSX-SE Game, due to my old Dell XPS 8500 machine no longer working, partly due to it being over 5-6 years old. And I hadn’t as of yet got round to it being retransferred onto my new Dell XPS 8500 machine/tower unit. I am also using the .386 version of UIAutomationCore.dll which currently makes no ascertainable difference to the problems or CTD’s encountered. Also for reference, please find below, a summary of my Dell XPS 8500 specs: Dell XPS 8500 Windows 10 Professional 16 GB RAM 2 x 2TB HDD’s Nvidia 710 Graphics 4 x 3.4GB Threads (Quad Core PC) DirectX12 Enabled PC/Experience Also for again for reference, please find below, a summary of my current installed payware/freeware FSX Aircraft and their subsequent manufacturers: TFS — Boeing: 777-200, 200-ER, 300, 300ER, Saab 340B, Saab 2000, Dash 8-Q400 FAIB — A318, A319, A320, A321, Boeing 767-400, B737-300 to B737-900 AIA — Boeing: 757-200, 757-300, Boeing 767-300, 767-400, E170 to E195. 9. Hi again everyone, I may have found the problem, but I need a second opinion. I have downloaded as part of my original FSX Installation, copies of aircraft files from my old computer, that was transferred off my old hard drive, and onto my new PC, which is the same model and operating system: (Dell XPS 8500/Win 10). However, I noticed something slightly odd in a few of the aircraft config files, I noticed that there in these files they are relating to the ‘AIM Embraer - E135, E145 & E145XR’, however, instead of using the proper aircraft, ATC designator, they all say either: ‘ERJ 135’, or ‘ERJ 145’. It’s my understanding is that even in real life terms, that ATC aircraft designators, should only be either 23 or four characters long? However, these ones here, or six characters long, with a space in between each ‘three sets of characters’, eg: ‘ERJ XXX’ etc. could this be the issue we are looking for? As this could possibly explain the - AI/Player.dll error? But I thought that FSX, only accesses aircraft files, if they have been loaded all selected from the main menu or during flight, but, it seems to be happening whether those aircraft have been selected or not? Or does FSX constantly access them during a program, loading and in operation? Kind regards, From Edward Powell
  10. Hi again everyone, I've tried to verify the integrity of my Steam and FSX files, to no avail/improvement. 13. Hi there everyone, My FSX Game was working perfectly a few months ago, and before Christmas 2022, without any hitches. But now, FSX seems to be crashing randomly after changing/switching through menus, and AI Traffic bounce up and down along each airport's apron, and do twirls in the air. I don't have any clue what has happened, or what has changed. After a few minutes of switching between menus, and viewing nearby airports. The FSX Application crashes to Desktop, and Event Viewer gives the faulting module as NTDLL.DLL. I have tried reinstalling FSX Steam Edition via Steam, using UIAutomationcore (386 Version), purging and resetting my FSX Microsoft Roaming Folder and Cache, and I've even reinstalled Windows 10, to no avail. The problems still persist. Also, when I view certain AI Aircraft that are already in the air, and are enroute to their destinations, in the simulation/game, I often find them not too far from each other, and they are rotating on their X axis, and sometimes fly inverted. And then the just drop out of the sky, and disappear altogether. Also when I try and take off, no matter which aircraft it is, eg a FAIB 737, 747 or 757, or even an DJC/FSPXAI airbus A319, A320 or A321, any aircraft at all, the right or left engine, only always one of them, is never on, and I have to keep pressing the engine on hotkey, but even still, with both engines at maximum, the different aircrafts only can reach about/between 65-85 knots, and the nose of the aircraft just is raised in the air. I have even tried crashing in water, to see what would happen, it respawns in the air above the water, at it's top speed, but then quickly slows down and stalls and then falls back to the ground/water. I have checked all of the aircraft.cfg and .air files, for all of the aircraft, land vehicles and rotorcraft. They all seem fine, however I noticed when opening up the "Fuel and Payload Settings", via the FSX Simulation Home/Selection Screen, that most of the weight is shunted to the front-middle side of the plane, and it says that the aircraft weight is some ridiculous figure like "127,625lbs over its maximum take off weight", even though I never changed any of those settings on any of the default or AI Traffic Aircraft. I do have images of the bizarre activity, but I cannot seem to find a way to upload them to this support thread. Any help or advice on my issues experienced, would be enormously appreciated. I thought I had it narrowed down completely, but It turned out, that the issue isn't to do with any of the UK2000 scenery files, On a second note, FSX-SE also now seems to be CTD after around 15-20 minutes a time, the game will start off smoothly, but then it will lag and then pause, and then it will CTD abruptly... I have copied my FSX Error report for you all to see, but as you can probably figure, it isn't much help, at least to me! -- MDMP“§a 3éetðÈ_p Df5¨H8¼Tôì8l˜$nE!5: eJ¼nGenuineIntel©ÿûë¿0ŠpT÷øáe?III 14. I have it narrowed completely down now. It isn't to do with the normal UK2000 scenery files, it appears to be specifically related to UK2000 HD Scenery only. The issue for now, seems completely fixed with no issues. I have reassigned my normal (legacy) UK2000 Scenery files, and it still works with no issues.
  15. Hello there again, I have now solved the issue, I believe so far. It was some kind of issue with UK2000 scenery. i have now checked all of my ai traffic and pretty much all of them are now working perfectly with no hitches, including on the airport apron or in the air, and so far FSX has not crashed within 20 minutes or so. and it a lot more stable it seems, with graphics etc, and when changing between in game menus etc. How could this have possiblly happened?
  16. Hi there, It may also be, that you were correct in that it might be a scenery file issue. As the only files, that were still reenabled in the game, were my personal work flightplans, and the world AI traffic files, such as easyjet, AA, United, vueling and all sorts etc. eg, individual traffic files, with the repaints installed manually. and my airport scenery files, other than that, i am sure that nothing else was still there, after the installations of FSX and Windows 10. So it could be that it may be that a recent windows update, specific to my old PC, may not be totally compatible now with some of the UK2000 scenery. but i will investigate more, and report back on here soon.
  17. Hi again everyone... I did what you suggested, but it didn't work. and upon loading the game, it crashed around after 5-10 minutes after loading. So i then tried and removing certain scenery folders, and removing them from the cache too. It didn't work when I removed the freeware scenery files, that I downloaded, but when i removed each of my UK2000 scenery files, including the HD ones. This time there appeared to be a 50% improvement, the AI traffic was no longer tipped up in the air, but they were flying more level, but they were fairly wobbly in flight, but no disappearing or falling etc, or doing loop-the-loops. So Im not sure at all, what has happened here.
  18. My FSX Game was working perfectly a few months ago, and before Christmas 2022, without any hitches.
  19. You%u2019re welcome! I am a big fan of Thunderbirds too, as I used to watch an episode on re-runs every Saturday morning, when I was a young child. I am also working on a Version 2 of Thunderbird%u2019s 3, 4 and 5, to make them better and more realistic, as I have used a lot of elements from already provided FSX aircraft, such as the space shuttle, the Grumman Goose and the Boeing 747. Also, some people may notice, that if they don%u2019t use slew mode after a while, TB5 will loose a lot of altitude and then it will hit the ground, then fly back into orbit again, and then repeat the cycle. So there are quite a few bugs to still work out.
  20. Hello Everyone, I am having a lot of trouble, with my AI Traffic, that I have created. I have created my own fictional airline, that is all compiled using AIFP and BGL Files, plus I have repainted all of my fleet myself, in my own time. I noticed that some of my AI aircraft are doing the following things: 1 - They are landing a few thousand/hundred feet over the runway, and they are deploying their landing gear, flaps and spoilers in mid-air, and then they go around, and declare themselves as a missed approach, 2 - Some AI Aircraft are landing, at a 45 degree angle at mainly Heathrow Airport. For my Heathrow Scenery, I use payware scenery from UK2000, as usual some land at a 45 degree angle, then they pull up their landing gear and declare themselves a missed approach to the local atc frequency. 3 - Some ai aircraft are landing very low, say before they land, for example at London Stansted Airport, they say go down to 300-500 feet above the ground, they keep deploying their flaps, spoilers, engine brake flaps/cowlers, and they act as if they have landed on a runway. How do I fix all of these problems? I have also taken some screenshots, to use as examples, hopefully, we can figure out what is wrong with my AI traffic, and know how to fix the issues I am having: Kind regards and yours sincerely, From Edward Powell
  21. Hi there everyone, Sorry I only have just saw your messages just now. I've been on holiday/on vacation. I have seen your feedback and efforts, I am very imressed. I have sent you an private message, or at least tried to, I am not sure if you have recived it though. I have gave you my email address so we can both work on TB3 as you suggest.
  22. Hi there everyone, I am working on a Thunderbird 3 model, for FSX. However, I have encountered some mind boggling problems. I have successfully imported a Thunderbird 3 model from my computer/PC. And it successfully appears in FSX, however, without an .air file, or appropiate aircraft.cfg file, the process has been very difficult to say the least. Thunderbird 3, always wants to fly vertically, as in it moves everywhere vertically/upright, as if it was a skyscraper, it moves along the ground as shown in the pictures? I want Thunderbird 3, to act like the the other 2 Thunderbirds, that were created for FSX, that were released by an author, and freely available on both Flightsim.com and avsimulation. It seems that it doesn't generate enough thrust to keep it in the air, and when I goes horizontal it stalls and free falls back to earth, and the ground/ocean. Also, it is very hard to turn the aircraft, or make it fly horizonatal while spinning round, similar to the one in the 2004 movie. Also, when I do try to fly horizontally, Thunderbird 3 stalls and crash lands either on land or into the ocean. How can I make Thunderbird 3, act like the one in the Thunderbirds 2004 Movie, as seen in the photos below? (All rights are owned by their respective companies, producers and Supermarination) Any help or advice of anyone, would be greatly appreciated? Let me know what you think, and if you would be able to even help me with the creation of an aircraft .cfg file, and .air file if you also wish to do so (Completely optional).
  23. Hi Everyone, I hope that someone or some people, can advise me with a problem I am having, with my Virtual Airline (The Virtual Airline, isn’t run by human pilots, but by FSX BGL Flightplans). I have noticed that my virtual airline AI Traffic moderated and run by FSX Steam Edition, are parking at remote stands. For example at Gatwick Airport, they are either parking at the remote stands, south of Pier 6 (The Pier of the North Terminal that is connected by the high transfer bridge), the Cargo parking spots, or the North Terminal remote stands to the left of the terminal. I have also noticed that my AI Traffic, are using the large cargo and large parking spots by Terminal 4 at Heathrow, and also are parking at the remote stands to the right of the old terminal 2 at Birmingham Airport, and also at the large parking area, north of the new International Pier at Birmingham Airport too. Is there something to do with FSX, that are causing my AI Traffic to use remote stands? Please also note, that this behaviour happens with or without AFCAD files, that contain airline assigned parking codes.
